0:26 that's some good street design and a road diet. A road that you can actually feel safe walking across, and wide sidewalk, that doesn't over prioritize cars. But I love the video as a whole.

What fuckin Brooklyn!!!! Theirs no Brooklyn anymore JACK!!!...The only thing this guy said the whole time he asked what is that, 210 Jeroloman street old Brooklyn DA's office worked there 88 ta early 90's just sayin, haha no Brooklyn Left Jack!!!🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🐘🐼🐕🐬🐳🐅🐻🐖🐄
City life yes a bit congested but I never thought I would live to see the day when Brooklyn looked better than L.A. I was raised in Brooklyn. It was a European neighborhood. I later visited Europe which was similar. L.A has streets lined with homeless tents even in Anaheim. The O.C. is not all that you see. Detroit is destroyed. I hope Brooklyn comes back.
20 bucks for a pack of smokes, 3 grand for a 1 bedroom shit hole and no privacy ever and you do not have the right to bear arms just for starts. You do have the right to pay top dollar to live in the ghetto and use public transportation for everything due to the outrageous cost of keeping a car. 500 bucks per month to park your car in a shitty outside lot. Everything has an extra tax added to it that goes towards all the welfare the Democrats here created. NYC has the highest amount of people leaving and not returning in America. All the Americans are being replaced by gullible foreigners. I'm in upstate and would never go to the city.
Brooklyn is not dirty! That downtown area is ten times the size of some city halls in some major cities, not just in the US but globally! Iwas much more elegant in the 60s with the three movie theaters, Abraham and Strauss Department store , Korvettes and Gage and Tollner restaurant! And unlike Europe there is Zero grafitti!
I remember the sounds & smells so well of Brooklyn. My old neighbor is unrecognizable.. condos/townhouses no one can afford.. your filming was good until you got to Manhattan .. went too fast, not stable. Was hard to watch, made me dizzy. Those saying it's a dirty city, well, Paris France is even dirtier and the rats are bigger... and crime. Eiffel Tower is the only thing beautiful. Lol✌🏼🇺🇸✌🏼
Igor, after watching the first few seconds, I'm guessing this is HD or possibly 4K. Does not look like you used a gimbal, but there is some sort of stabilization. What device were you using, and do you recall the settings? Shooting under overcast skies brings out the color and the spring in people's step. Thank you.
stan Thank you for your comment! First few seconds were shot on iphone 6 plus then i was using gopro hero 4 and yes stabilization is terrible, and it is reason why would not advise to buy gopro for shooting videos on hands. Yes i know about shooting under overcast, thanks for advise! But whole day was like this. Sorry for quality. Best time to shoot a video is early morning or evening, in the middle of the shinny day it will be too bad, because a lot of light, ppl and buildings would be dark by contrast
I'm enjoying this, but I have to watch it in segments, otherwise I'd probably throw up, and I don't want to do that. Seriously, I like these walking videos. When I lived downtown Los Angeles, I used to do a lot of walking and talking with the locals. Thanks Igor.
This is interesting. The signal indicates "don't walk," but the crowd en masse begins to cross at 7:53 . Would like to hear from a New Yorker, if this is the norm and consensus, or am I missing something and the pedestrians actually have the right of way. Or, is it acceptable to cross against the signal, as long as it does not impede vehicular traffic.
@@LadellTurner That's amazing. That's cool, but amazing. I say that, because here in downtown Los Angeles, if you step off the curb against a flashing "don't walk" sign (even though you still have the green vehicular light), you are liable for a ticket. I believe the city of L.A. is trying to maximize the flow of traffic by clearing the crosswalks by the time the light changes to red. So more power to ya, Ladell!
@@loft4me In most parts of the city, We have so much traffic and traffic lights every two blocks. Cars really dont be speeding so if there's no cars coming or its moving slow we just walk on through, Whether the traffic signs saids walk or dont walk! Here in New York, We dont get illegal crossing tickets!
Damn in 3 years so much has changed from this video. It looks much updated now and always crowded.

Fun to visit and eat, but to hell with living there.
Ishbu101 Really...? why??
Its absolute chaos. You have to wait for everything, people are everywhere...and things are way more expensive too. Not worth it!
Ishbu101 tks!!

Stan yeah me too, i think it is the better way to understand the city and his life temperament. You are welcome!
This place needed a make over like 40 years ago.
Ótimo vídeo. Parabéns.
I love Texas😊😊😋
No visit to Downtown B'klyn is complete without a trip to Fort Greene. This is a fail.

Yea! Here in New York we don't pay the "Dont Walk Sign " Any attention. Unless a car is coming but if not we just walk! The cops dont care!
