    I took my propeller off, put a new one on and now it’s leaking the gear oil and it’s on there the same way. The old one came off. I do not understand it’s not being sealed what the hell is going on.

      You shouldn't have any gear oil leaking from changing out the prop if you do it sounds like you have bigger issues! Can you see where it's leaking from????

      Thanks for the video. How do I know the size of my blade?

    • @WhitehouseFarmVet
      @WhitehouseFarmVet  6 месяцев назад +2

      The proper propeller size for your boat and engine combination is based in part on the wide open throttle (WOT) operating range for your particular engine. You can find this in your operator's manual, expressed in terms of a certain horsepower at a certain r.p.m.

      @@WhitehouseFarmVet thanks I will check the manual.

    Helpful video man. Is the prop supposed to be able to spin both ways that easily when it's in neutral? Also, I'm hearing a small knocking when I spin my prop both ways.
    Is that normal?

    • @WhitehouseFarmVet
      @WhitehouseFarmVet  Год назад +2

      Yes when in neutral it will spin both ways , if your hearing a knocking or clunking you might need to adjust your gear cables because if its in neutral and your hearing noise which means it is trying to go into gear! Good luck and thanks for watching!👍

    Which blade did you use?

      They had 14.5x19 inch at my local Anderson boat shop, works great for my boat no issues! Thanks for watching!👍

      @@WhitehouseFarmVet I tried a Hustler by Turning Point. I did a 14.25 x19 and the shaft was like a half inch longer so I hit the bottom part that looks like a skegg but it is not. I had to change it out for a quicksilver 14.25 x21 that sucked but I fixed it and it was great :) I will be testing out tomorrow I live in spring hill fl now :)
