Gonna get one this Fall and make some minor modifications. Square off the drapes and add velcro to my mask and hood.

Damn good for a mass produced costume that anyone can get. Imagine all the $100's people would have saved with this new costume and knife years ago when they were paying out benjamins to get the knives and costumes made!

Ghostface is such a great killer design. Hell, his design in Scream The TV Series looked good. And that show was mid as hell.

Notice how the robes out there still cant replicate the father death packagin pose? The drapes go sttaight down and kinda of twist and bunch up, the ones out there they look rigid and skew to the right and fold up a bit, might me coz the material was thicker and heavier

I feel like with the new 60 robe if you put foam in the hood and maybe buy 2 robes and make new drapes for it that then it would be pretty damn good

I've recently created my own version of the scream suit I actually bought a fun world Grim reaper robe with the fun world scream mask&knife and generic black gloves from a drugstore for my own version of a generic suit that could be the same effect that could of been used in a movie

Man I just wish the mask included with the costume had a shroud like in the movie. Not a full hood, basically just a recreation of the original Fantastic Faces mask.
I heard the mask that you can buy separately is better.
@@nonameman7114 it is. I have it and it’s awesome. But it looks a little weird under the hood of the costume because it already has a hood and there’s no way to really hide it.

@@nonameman7114 I would say more gen 2. Consistent eyes and such. It’s by far the best mask released by Fun World. It’s amazing. It’s just better on it’s own though without the costume. You should look up pictures of it.
Those who don't have the fun world, they are fuqin amazing. Don't be fooled by elitists who get snarky with screen used and store bought. They are fuqin hefty when worn and not as hot. They look fuqin amazing and way cheaper. Get these and save for a screen accurate.

@@BullyLifts well to be fair, I haven’t seen a statement that said they would definitely not be. But I also haven’t seen anything that gets my hopes up. I emailed an online store and their response was they haven’t heard anything about restocks, that they thought it was just a one time special anniversary edition.
I would love for them to restock because I definitely wanna grab this to collect, but I don’t know how high the chances are.
@@nolaray1062 they are only being made this year if I am correct. I tried getting this on fun world and asked if they were making more. They said it is a special 25th anniversary thing for this year only. I was super bummed out. The prices on Ebay are just outrageous. $300 for a costume! Sucks that they aren’t restocking
@@richorsuicide honestly at that price I would just rather get one of the custom made ones that are screen accurate. At least then it would be a higher quality. I can understand wanting to do something special for the anniversary, but to a) not make nearly enough for the customer base you know you have and b) not have a screen accurate costume all the time is just bad business. Ppl would gladly pay the higher price so it’s just idiotic that they wouldn’t keep it year round. I would like to think the prices on the resells would come down after Halloween and after the movie buzz dies, but I’m not gonna hold my breath.
Awesome video! Lots of people have been wanting this! I'm curious if the 25th collectors set that has the knife and mask, if the mask is tagged inside or not? The paint job on my bib mask is pretty bad also. The overspray around the eyes is very obvious.

Who was Cynthias seamstress for the Scream 96 robe? If it was $300-700 bk thni still wouldve bought one. There was nothin on the internet bk in the late 90s 2000s for the the robe just the shtty funworld world

Great video! But are you sure the robe in Scream 1 was a pullover? At the end when Sidney wears it she pulls it right apart to get it off.
Scream 1 robes were pull over. For Sidney’s robe, they cut one down the middle for that shot.

Please someone here tell me how to buy this 25th anniversary ghostface costume from fun world but unfortunately me being from Mexico.
With "screamrobes" I couldn't buy him the super accurate and good quality robe that he makes everything because I live in Mexico and he can't ship here.

Question is WHY couldnt they get a screen used robe for reference?? Even i knew with a vhs tape as a 12 year old the robe was different and how it was meant to look. Doesnt anyone knw the seamstress’s name? She should help the robe makers with the designs
Sadly its just not that easy. The studio is reluctant to just hand over a costume to be copied by FunWorld.

@@Playa_Productions the FunWorld costume came in 2 sizes. Child and Adult. This was the adult size. The ScreamRobes replica was made to the exact specifications of my hero robe.

no, it’s lycra fabric and they put silver threads thru the entire screen used robe, it costed them about 700 dollars for each robe so you can’t make it lol

The drapes on the 25th ann robe still look crap wayy too short, hood too tight still, i dont believe all tht safety crap funworld spat out. Safety seems to be the excuse for poor workmanship these days. The excuse was the same when they first made robes. They didnt have a template and went off what they saw in the movie. Im nt a seamstress but i even knew the costume they release was wrong on all levels n they had the nerve to say ‘as seen in the motion picture scream’ lol

That was Velcro. You can see/hear it in that scene when she opens the chest. Also confirmed by costume designer Cynthia Bergstrom.
