    Absolutely beautiful! I’ve been waiting to see this Cape Cod. I love it!!

    We had the Winnebago View V with the twins and recliners and so I love thef layout but I just cannot warm up to the interior style nor the type of cassette toilet it offers. Thanks for showing us the latest and greatest!

      I really like having a black tank. I can't see myself carrying a container somewhere to dump. I did really like the interior of the coach.

      @@CampingCoastie , might as well since you have to empty the grey water anyway! I could do a cassette toilet if I had to and they do come in handy in the winter time but in a fairly large rig like that I want my toilet "fixed", not sliding around.

      Fixed is nice.

      My significant other has been talking for some time about downsizing from our 40 foot pusher to something that would be easier for her to drive and take out by herself from time to time. I’ve looked at the B’s and smaller C class, but can’t find anything that usable for either of us. it’s nearly impossible to find a class B with a toilet and a shower. And for the size of those in the B class, you may as well forget it. Everything I like in the class C we would have to get a minimum 30 footer. It was bad enough driving a class a gasoline motorhome In the Winnebago sightseer class. The 33 foot sightseer only had two slides, but when you put two big dogs in it with two adults and have company it’s like being in a sardine can. Plus every time at tractor trailer goes by. You get pushed over from the wind tunnel. Even high winds it was sketchy driving it. I like the heaviness of the pusher plus the fact that if I run into a snowstorm, I know I can get through it. I’m guessing at this point it’s that we’re just going to keep the pusher until, I no longer want to drive it. It doesn’t make sense to go to toy hauler because then you have to have a truck big enough to pull it. Plus, she can’t back up a trailer so that rules out that option. Would love to get a super C though with a big garage. That’s my dream machine, but I’m getting so old now that I don’t want to spend that kind of money. Yeah I would rather stay with The turtle as I call it rather than trying to fit everything into a little clamshell.

      @@CampingCoastie The toilet is an Embassy standard and most popular LAVEO dry flush. I have one and will never be without one, if I had the choice. There are all kinds of RUclips videos on this unit for more info...

    they lost me on the cassette toilet

    • @amorevan
      @amorevan 3 месяца назад +4

      Not a cassette. Choice of Laveo Dry Flush or Separett. Embassy does not use black tanks on any of its RVs.

    • @DF-sq3mw
      @DF-sq3mw 2 месяца назад +2

      The Laveo dry-flush system is an absolute non-starter solution!
      It locks users into its proprietary waste bag system featuring modest capacities …requiring owners to use up scarce cargo space with replacement Laveo cartridges.
      Added cost & storage sacrifices versus the time-proven black tank system. (A solution in search of a problem)

    • @amorevan
      @amorevan 2 месяца назад +2

      @@DF-sq3mw We love our Laveo. Any RV with a black tank was immediately off our list.

    The entry door is Huge, shower is Huge, rear garage is Huge and even has lower storage on either side. I love the radius bathroom wall interior and exterior. It really helps the space look very open. The seat covers are really nice. Also love the LAVEO dry flush toilet (not a cassette) I have one and it's such a simple and amazing system.

    For as beautiful as this rig looks on the outside, it presents as pretty 'pedestrian' on the inside. A no-go for me.

    Nice unit but the chicken wire graphics on the wall coverings are a hard pass for us … we’d call this the “Cape Coop” …

      Believe it or not, this is actually a substantial improvement over Terry’s B van conversion interior designs, which have a cold, clinical, spacecraft-like plain vanilla aesthetic.
      I honestly see more effort being put forth, in presenting a less ‘economy class’ interior vibe.

    • @DF-sq3mw
      @DF-sq3mw 2 месяца назад

      Well, perspectives are all relative, correct? Compared to the spartan, utilitarian interiors of the B van series …virtually ANY change would be ‘inspirational’.
      Definitely glad to see the ‘plastic-ky’ cabinetry modified to mimic traditional RV furnishing structures.

    Hiding the cassette toilet is a great idea. I never understood wet baths. Sorry, but I don’t want to sit on my toilet to shower.

    • @CampingCoastie

      I like the shower space with the toilet moved out of the way. But I really prefer a fixed ceramic toilet with a conventional black tank. But I do like the size of the bathroom on the Cape Cod.

    Looks like they’re trying to compete with Winnebago’s View T floorplan. The T is an attempt to take a “traditional floorplan” and add a gear garage.

    Beds are too short. With all that inverter, why no induction cooking? Negative on the porta potty. Just another ho hum B+

    • @amorevan
      @amorevan 3 месяца назад +1

      The beds are 6’4”, so seems plenty long for all but the very tall. All Embassy RVs are sold with a portable induction cooktop so that you have the flexibility to cook inside or outside. We have the Laveo Dry Flush toilet in our Class B Dolphin S and love it.

    • @CampingCoastie

    There is no solar. Will that be an optional add-on? Or, can it be easily done?

    • @DF-sq3mw
      @DF-sq3mw 2 месяца назад

      Terry doesn’t want the potential liability of non-essential roof penetrations. While every other RV builder has ‘solved the mystery’ of reliably sealed rooftop attachments, Terry hasn’t yet.

      @DF-sq3mw Thanks. I guess I will cross this one off my list. Solar definitely seems like something I want for boondocking. It had potential, because I like the dry-flush toilet.

      I wasn't expecting to shoot a video when I came across this opportunity. I was so excited when I saw this beautiful coach I just shot the video with my phone. You might have noticed that there wasn't even any video editing, just a single video from start to finish of videoing. I am going to try and get a factory tour this week. I will have a cameraman using a stabilized camera.
      This was just an excited spur of the moment opportunity.
      Thanks for watching.
