Cold water......STEENBRAS.....and some banter

Gone fishing on a perfect day hoping to get something big. Got a beautiful juvenile steenbras that was safely released. Even though the weather was perfect the water was pretty cold and the sharks did not want to play with.

Hi, enjoyed your video. keep them coming. try using the top hook as the carry hook. live bait will be able to swim better. also make your trace in advance then you can take it with you when you wade in to cast and send it out whilst you're out there. otherwise you're sliding it all the way from the sand. when you could've sent it in from where you casted. great content, I enjoyed watching you wade, it's not something we do much of here in Durban.

Thanks for the advice. The reaso i wait when i do the sliding is so that the sinker gets tme to settle in the sand. Normaly i do have a pre made slide on hand but that dayi had to make a new one as the trace was badly used. As for using the to hook as the carry hook i have noticed that it weighs the head of the live bait down and tey perish quickly

Water seems be cold all around Cape Town...not much happening on west coast or False Bay even baitfish are scarce.
