Everyone has them on everything. If you look up lowrider st's, most of them have tbars and 2 into 1 exhausts, same with any Dyna models, and most new softails, really.

The old RG fairing was solid and did not have the see through to the ground. It was also larger! I agree the new fairing is cheap looking from the inside!

hey hey hey, I don't have tbars! The new street glide does look good, the road glide mostly looks good but there are a few horrible angles. As for if it's worth the upgrade I think it comes down to what you have in your current bike, for example for me? No way. But if my bike explodes? Oh yeah, CVO here I come

I test rode the 24 Road Glide. White Onyx Pearl, black trim package, not sure about other extras. Price out the door tax title, 38k. Couldn't pull the trigger. They start at 26ish and white paint and black exhaust you're paying almost 40k. Love the bike, but I couldn't justify the price.

Jerry is spot on. I have a 23 street glide special: rode the new models and there’s not night difference to justify the change . I also like the look of the older models better. My 23 challenger still rides better than the new RG. Also has a few more features. Steeet glide is still my favorite bike though.

  • @jasonbreedlove495

I like the new design, but can't justify the purchase.
Just crossed over from a 17 Streetglide Special with 25k miles to a 19 Roadglide Special in wicked red denim, with 3k miles on it.
Figured get a 114 and try the 🦈 fairing out. I'm digging the ride, took some getting used too but rides just as good as my batwing did, with slightly less buffering passing semis.
Also, it's paid for and about to do a Reaper 465 cam.
Great thoughts Jerry, and agree...stop with the damn FAD mods. Make it your own.

I did a test ride on both the Road and the Street Glide 2024 and the Road Glide was much nicer imo. Better wind protection, the bars are in a much better position from stock, the “pockets” are better positioned and it just looks way better imo 🤷🏻‍♂️💀

I was a fan of the design change when I saw the 23.5 CVO leaks and when I demoed one out in Milwaukee at the Powertrain Operations Plat during they 120th I was hooked. Unfortunately I don't have CVO money so got the next best thing; a 2024 Road Glide w/ black trim in Blue Burst (blue is my favorite color) and this bike has been an absolute blast! The 117 in this bike with liquid cooled heads and riding modes is just a complete game changer especially with the reduced weight and better center of gravity on this bike really changes it up in a good way. I've noticed more and more fans of the re-design coming out now that it's been out for a bit.

I'm sorry, I tried, I want the corporation to stay in business, but letting an AI program on a spectrum redesign the Batwing is just wrong.
When I was a kid growing up riding choppers and stripped down bikes and I'd see the old grey beards on pre-rubber mounted baggers with Batwings, it was fitting and timeless, it screamed that the artist, the designer, the engineer that designed the Batwing had stood on the balcony of the Falling Water house with a cigarette, drink, fedora and the woman he loved, he'd seen the beauty of Sante Fe on a motorcycle, the Appalachians with his feet on Floorboards, Northern California and been inside the Empire State building on business and felt inspired by it. That designer understood art.

I'm just waaay too cheap to "upgrade" for the latest and greatest. Running 2011 dyna street bob bought new and put on the 110 tire shredder around 2017. More than enough power for me runs amazing and most importantly it's paid for...and it's obviously worth nothing now so pointless to get rid of it. Just my 2 cents

Can't afford to to get the new and improved , the price of a new bike is out of reach for most of us , this is the major problem with Harley Davidson over priced and in 2 years there not going to be worth any where near the cost of new so why go that deep in dept for something else , owner of a 2019 EGS .

I completely agree, the dash on the road glide looks so cheap, it was a factor in my choosing a street glide, i didnt wanna stare at that dash all day, i did the harley 8" windshield because stock was useless, the wind management is great but theres pretty bad distortion in the bend at the top, ill be changing it when klock werks gets one out. I traded a 21 Chieftain Dark Horse for the 24 SG and im happy with my decision, its a great bike. Also i switch between solo and 2up pretty often. Adjusting your suspension will make a huge difference for your wifes comfort. Worth the time it takes to adjust it ans adjust it back after

I personally like the look I had the setup on my road glide. But looks are subjective. As long as people are using different parts to look different from the other bikes I’m all for it. Hate it when people just use the same old parts over and over
