Life in a Ukrainian Village

- My brother and I spent a week in the remote village of Prokurava in southwestern Ukraine and I'm truly excited to share our experience. We stayed with a wonderful family who not only opened their home to us, but their community as well. I taught a (brief) English lesson at the local school, dined on homemade Ukrainian dishes, hiked deep into the Carpathians, and learned everything there is to know about woodworking! It's a beautiful corner of the world and I can't wait to go back. Slava Ukraini!

How did you find this place? hopefully it has not been affected. My trips are usually local up to the Sierras here in California but this trip looks awesome.
My brother found it! He wanted to visit this part of the country and was able to set up this stay for us. I can’t wait to go back.
