Game of Thrones in Spain, Part One: Girona
Welcome to Braavos! Ok, technically it's the quiet town of Girona in northeastern Spain, but they filmed many Game of Thrones scenes here and I recreated as many as I could. The Citadel of Old Town, the steps of the Great Sept of Baelor, and some streets of King's Landing are also here. Stay tuned for part two, where I recreate Thrones' scenes in a completely different part of Spain!

Dude, I'm only two minutes in this video, and the scenery looks amazing. I'm a fantasy author with a book that's publishing soon, and Magome is primarily an important setting for one of my characters! And thank you for showing the map at the beginning of your video. @@improvambassador That explains it! I went to the one in Harajuku. I also had no idea that there were other Mipig (Micro Pig) Cafes aside from the one in Harajuku. When I was in Tokyo, I went to tons of animal cafes. After googling a lot of them, however, I've found out that they're a bit controversial. I sure hope they take good care of them 😥 Maybe I was a bit naive. I'm from the Netherlands, and in Western Europe, we have many laws in place that ensure we take care of animals well, but maybe they don't care much for that in many Asian countries. I'd hate it if I went to one that abused them

It is a good seat! Flush with the window and forward enough so that your view is not totally blocked by the wing.

No offense to you by any means that so many people spend so much time filming their face with a backdrop of the location they are filming.It gets lost in the background.
My advice is less of your face and more of the location.

2 serious questions : (1) Which did you like better, Magome or Tsumago? (2) Which was more scary, bandits or bears? Even more seriously, I really envy your walk in the deserted streets after dark.
1. They actually felt quite different given their shared past. I didn’t spend more than a couple hours in Tsumago so it’s hard to judge. Tsumago felt less touristy than Magome. 2. Bandits are scarier, bears won’t take my iPhone. Being alone in town like that was one of the more surreal experiences I’ve had during my travels. There’s very few places where one can be by themselves in such a beautiful spot.

Actually, the slippers at the cat cafe aren't disposed of. They're sanitized and go to the bottom of the machine to be reused...
Am I the only one who thinks that these animal cafes wouldn't last five minutes in the United States. Somebody will be like complaining about something and then it'll be vandalized and the animals will be hurt. Such a shame because these cafes in Japan are beautiful and the animals are well cared for.

Wait 2 weeks ago and no Ice cream cart. This is weird.
This was from October of 2021, and there was no cart they just dropped off the ice cream!
@improvambassador United returned the Ice cream cart as of Dec 2022. Due to Covid, United stopped with ice cream cart but now it's back.

I was able to get by with my very basic Spanish so I’m not sure. My guess there’s enough visitors that you’ll be able to communicate what you want without Spanish.
