The pokemon gardevor is a bipedal, humanoid pokemon whose body resembles a flowing gown. Most of gardevoir body is white, but its hair, arms, and the underside of its gown are green. As mega gardevoir , it turns almost completely white; only its hair remains green. Its gown becomes longer and wider, resembling a bridal gown. The gardevoir pokemon is able to see the future using its psychic powers. Additionally, it is able to create small black holes, distort dimensions, and support itself without feeling the pull of gravity. Its power reaches its peak when protecting its Trainer, whom it will protect with its life. This Pokémon inhabits urban areas.
The pokemon gallade is a white, bipedal pokemon. Its lower body consists of rounded hips with strong legs. It has a thin green torso with sharp, red horns sticking out of its chest and back. Its arms are shaped like tonfas with extendable blades in its elbows. Its head resembles a gladiator's helmet with a white face, red eyes, and a teal head crest. It has spikes on the sides of its face.
It is a master of courtesy and swordsmanship that is capable of predicting its foe's moves. True to gallade honorable warrior image, it is just as protective of their Trainer as its counterpart gardevoir, using the blades on its elbows to defend. Pokemon gallade is known to be sharply aware of a person's wish for help and seeks out those who need its assistance in battle.

@@CamSteady Well it's mostly gotta do with Pokemon who evolve by stones that aren't Eeveelutions just not getting moves in exchange for a stronger Pokemon (at least I think that's the reason lol). But yeah, if you want a good moveset for Gallade, better find some TMs or Heart Scales.

@@CamSteady It is true a lot of the moveset is trash but it makes up for it that if you have a fighting tm like brick break you can teach Gallade that
Consider it evolves from specially offensive pokemon, of course it has access to Dazzling Gleam and Draining Kiss which no other fighting types can't learn. It has no use whatsoever because Gal is physical and get no STAB. But then you look at its movepool and it is the most diverse of non-legendary pokémon!
Gallade can run unresisted attacks packing Close Combat/Drain Punch, Psycho Cut, and Night Slash/Shadow Sneak. Set some Swords dance up and you're good to go.

0:28 Confusion is the very first attacking move Ralts learns, which is the pre-evo of both of the Pokémon in this rap battle.
0:31 Hypnosis is a move that puts the opposing Pokémon to sleep.
0:33 Ralts can't learn Tackle.
0:34 Light Screen and Reflect are moves that reduce Special and Physical damage for the user's side for 5 turns but it can be broken by Brick Break, a move that Gallade learns, while Dazzling Gleam is a Fairy move that Gardevoir can learn.

1:55 Psycho Cut is a Physical Psychic move which is one of the few Psychic moves that Gallade can use that isn't a Special type.
1:56 Close Combat's is Gallade's only decent Fighting move that it learns by itself, which is learned at level 63. It also references that Gardevoir can learn Dream Eater.

Coming in from the future. 0:57 also contains a pretty well hidden reference. To makes full sense of the entire line you have to go back to Gallade when he says "When I come to battle then it's time to duel." The last part is one of the most memorable parts of the English YuGiOh OP which was pretty popular when it first came out, as well as being a common line in the show itself. To add to that Mega Gallade's arm blades can easily look like the Duel Discs used in the show. So that line can also read as "Your fad(YuGiOh) was a flash (in the pan) and you missed (too late, no longer cool)."

Great rap. Im glad you didnt go the singing route with Gardevoir, the way Gallade and Gardevoir switch bars into each other is flawless
There is some singing in some of Gardevoir’s parts, but they’re backup vocals with the main vocals being rapped. This is a good balance if you ask me as this, after all is a RAP battle.

Gallade is my favorite pokemon of all time so I came in kinda biased however it was close like really close the gallade bars the sheer amount of moves, abilities, and other refrences is great but gardevoir had the same level of such refrences so I think it was very close

@@francescopratesi7085 A move he doesnt learn naturally, not STAB either. Statistically speaking, the only difference between the two is the ATT and SpATT stats, Gardevoir has type advantage in lv up moves, but its DEF stat isnt as good as Gallades SpDEF.

@@francescopratesi7085 i ran the calcs cause i was interested, and with max atk investment and a jolly nature gallade has about a 20% chance to ohko gardevoir with poison jab, at which point it can follow up with a shadow sneak.
Gardevoir with max spatk and a timid
nature has a 80% to ohko with moonblast.
so basically there are 6 results
gallade wins the speed tie, doesnt ohko gard, follows up with shadow sneak (8% chance)
gallade wins the speed tie, ohkos gard (10% chance)
gallade wins the speed tie, doesnt ohko gard, dies to moonblast (32% chance)
gallade loses the speed tie, doesnt die to moonblast, ohkos gard (2% chance)
gallade loses the tie, doesnt die from moonblast, kills next turn with shadow sneak (8% chance)
gallade loses speed tie, dies to moonblast (40% chance)
so basically gardevoir will win about 72% of the time and gallade will win 28% of the time.
(this does not factor in crits or items)

I have listen to you for over a year now I believe and you have so many great rap battles like raps that at first I didn't listen to like bakugo rap or dead by daylight rap but now I absolutely love them and I listen to them on my phone and in the car and it is enjoyable to be my video game nerdy self and have video game characters into a rap battle that is how your channel is so unique and I love it so much thank you for making these rap battles

IMO, SailorUrLove’s normal voice works here; I’m not well-verses in the anime, so I can’t know for sure how accurate her voice is to official Gardevoir voice clips, but with actual Pokémon in rap battles, I usually gives passes if a performer’s normal voice fits the ‘mon.
