To adjust valves one should use the rule of nine,eg.,to adjust valve eight subtract one from nine and you have eight, to adjust valve seven subtract two from nine and you have seven and so on, it's fool proof.
I'm thinking in order to adjust the valves with the head on an engine that's operable you'll have to look in each spark plug hole to make sure piston is TDC, correct?
No ,The way I show in video you don't have to look in cylinder, just adjust the opposite valve that is closed for instance if no.1 ex. valve is fully open adjust no. 4 ex. valve and so on

This pump is used in industrial but a good air powered ac pump works also
