I wondered when this would happen. People don't think about the responsibility of an animal. But it's so worth it. With a little attention and training you will get a friend for life.

We have the same increasing issue in our Country. It breaks my heart 💔 I salute these human Angels, who act as the mediators in trying to give these precious beauties a loving forever home. And also to the families who adopt them 🙏
Also just think about it, some of these dogs may have been adopted during the pandemic. The only way of living they know of is being inside, their owners wearing masks etc.
@@MarcusB-qr1hk Well yes but even during lockdown you were still allowed to go out once a day for exercise so there's no excuse for not taking your dog for a walk and their owners wouldn't be wearing their masks while in their own homes.

My cousin has been trying to adopt and was just told at every place 'not good with kids' or has this health issue or that behaviour problem. So is finding impossible to find any to adopt.
Got my dog during lockdown and I can't imagine my life without her. She is the most affectionate, loyal beautiful dog I could ever wish for. She's so good with my kids and is as soft as a brush. Makes my blood boil when people get rid of them because it no longer fits in to their life style or it doesn't do what they want.
Gave that puppy up at 9 weeks old. Probably only got it at 8. That is disgusting. So basically what has happened is they've brought the dog home, shoved it in a crate, gone to bed expecting it to goto sleep and it's howled due to being on their own. As for nipping it's a puppy fgs.
this just shows the selfishness of A LOT of humanity.. how dare you take on a dog as a family because YOU want them to help you during the lockdown and then abandon them when you no longer want them... i wouldn't spend my good wishes on you.
Agree this selfish attitude toward animals is pure evil. I can somewhat understand if it comes from a financial perspective BUT..you don't see as many people dumping their CHILDREN when money is tight. Sadly, I saw this coming too based on the real motivation for purchasing during lockdown.
