The actress portraying the ice cream person is a girl, but the narrator is a guy. I think it's supposed to be ambiguous and just be living ice cream, so it can probably go either way, but I just when went with the actress when referring to it.

I might be late but Duracell family I like them and they do have potential for being adaptable into a sitcom (which their commercials have the feeling of). But the design could’ve been improved. I like them and their voice actors are great. But the design could’ve improved slightly. But honestly the commercials messages show that they are better than their competitors, by making their competitors look like they were designed to make the fictional animatronics fail and power down (at least two times), if I had to choose my favorite of the commercials featuring them, i would say maybe when their parrot gets his battery changed and they (the family) get annoyed with his talking that they wait for him to stop by placing him outside.
