BMW E87, E90, E91 and E93 - Final drive (diff) removal

  • After 170,000 miles, and more than a season of racing, my final drive has failed. In this video, we cover removing the final drive from the car. Although I'm doing this on a 116 Trophy car, the procedure will be just the same on your road-going E87, and a range of 3 series cars (E90, E91, E92 and E93).

    It's easier to jam screwdriver in brake discs and caliper to undo drive shaft bolts

      Is there a danger of damaging the pad?

      @@PaulOffordRacing no screwdriver goes between in the gap off the brake caliper in the fins off brake disc
