You’re correct! That’s how much the axle can hold. The dry weight is 2,020 lbs. That means you have just under 1,500 lbs you can add to this trailer before it’s maxed out. On a camper this size, that’s MORE than enough for anything extra you could ever need! :)
The small door to the bedroom is a no for me. I like my privacy but it is bad enough to have to crawl over the other person but then to have to squeeze through a small door. What were they thinking?
Good news! They eliminated this wall on the 2024 models. We all agree with you that it’s too small! I haven’t done a video on the 24 changes but will be glad to do so as soon as I get this model back in stock!
It’s 6’ exactly! I have another RUclips video showing the height with my husband inside. He is 5’10” and is comfortable but admittedly wouldn’t want to be a lot taller!
Hey! Sorry I missed your comment earlier! I used to post prices in my videos… until I realized people were watching those videos 3-4 years later and upset the prices weren’t the same, lol. It messed with their expectations! The market has fluctuated so much in the last couple of years that pricing has been ALL over the place!! Right now the 2023 16RB’s we have in stock are priced at $25,995. I need to confirm, but I believe prices are going up for 2024 models.
I the Rove 16RB! I’ve seen other ones with plain slab barn doors. Are the barn doors in your video avail by special order? Can they be purchased after market? Love your RV tours!
Thank you SO MUCH!! The barn doors showed up when they first created the 16RB. Unfortunately that went away with newer models, but I loved it too! To be totally transparent, when I told them we loved the barn doors and they needed to bring it back, the company’s chief operations manager said that they had trouble with the application of the barn door “look” and it wasn’t applying as smoothly as they wanted. Since it didn’t look as good as they wanted it to, they went back to plain doors. I’ll let them know that the vote is to keep at it to get it right and bring it back!
@@campoaksrvoutdoors8722 Thank you for your response. Agreed, The barn door design makes a world of difference! Just to clarify…is the barn door ‘look’ an applied vinyl, or is a 3-D trim? I appreciate your time! Stay well!

A shame because the interior looks really cheap with those flat slabs.
I just watched the factory tour saying how great Azdel was vs aluminum and now you say this is aluminum? Did I misunderstand? I like the 14FL anyway. Trying to find used to move up from my teardrop.
Hi! I want to respond but not sure I’m clear on the question… did I mistakenly say aluminum somewhere? Sometimes my lips and my brain don’t always connect, lol. This trailer is definitely fiberglass - from the floors to the exterior to the roof. If I made a mistake, I most certainly apologize!
@@campoaksrvoutdoors8722 thanks for response. Glad to know the new one is not aluminum. But I liked he Adzel and the layout of the 14FL. I want to upgrade from my Bushwhacker to something I can stand up in and cook in. At 75 the teardrop hurts my back when I can’t stand straight. I’m there other model you’d recommend? I’m only five feet so it doesn’t take much for me to stand. A little off highway capability would be nice as I prefer dry camping and no crowds. Thanks.
pretty nice but is there any option to upgrade the blank tank capacity to more than just 5 gallons? cant really boondock for more than a few days with that.. something in 20-30 gallon range like the casitas would be better.. id pick one up today if it had that
The 14’ floorplans so have small, 5 gallon tanks. But the 16RB does have larger tanks!! 30 gallon black/ 30 gallon gray and 10 gallon fresh water tanks.
I’ve noticed the dinette cushions, the mattress, and entertainment system all seem to change depending on which dealers video I watch of this model. Do the ones you sell look exactly like this one besides the barn doors? Also, what do you reckon the dimensions of that exterior storage space is? Looks small, but definitely helps with that crazy small hitch weight!
Hey! Sorry for the delay! We’ve been at an RV show and just now seeing this… I’m thinking you’re the one I emailed last night too! I’m very happy travel lite exists since they can make people who have suvs have more options for life and travel. I would be very interested though if travel lite could release a new product/trailer that was 17ft, had a different floor design than the 16ft option, and came with 1 slide out. In addition the ceiling needs to be 3 inches taller. I believe that if they came out with such a design, they would be able to capture the entire markets demand from consumers. I’m hoping the design would be below 2,350lbs dry. I’m currently saving up $ for a travel trailer from rove lite but if they release a model similar to the one I listed above, it would make my day. Oh and here is one other piece of information I find fascinating, whenever I search ultra light travel trailers there are either trailers that are 10 ft long or a ridiculous 3,500lbs dry for 16ft so before I found rove lite my plans for the future were a bit gloomy. I feel like there should be more advertising for this new honey comb technology, I’m marveled as to how many people dont know about it.
