This video didn't need to take 10 minutes of viewing what little there is of the outside to get inside. That monotone voice was ripping out my lifeforce. Thank you Veronica :)
1,838 pounds is the weight number that I have been looking for on this unit. That’s what makes this thing appealing to me. Best video on RUclips of this Rv.
I love the shelf in the bathroom, the counter space and there's so much storage, even a separate sitting area. I wish we had these available in Southern California and I would have bought one!
Takes a piece of scrap electrical household wire to do that. Simply pin the hot lead to the running lights on the trailer connector. I see people do this all the time at our campground.
Hi, Clayton. You have done a great job of showing us this remarkable Rove Lite and its features. BUT, you didn't mention one very important fact about all four models in the Travel Lite line: INTERIOR HEADROOM IS A MAXIMUM OF JUST SIX FEET! Despite the otherwise superb engineering and construction in the Rove trailers, they don't work for me because-like thousands of potential customers- I'm more than 6' tall. Best, Chris (in Maine)
According to their website, this is NOT a cassette toilet. The black water tank is a ridiculous 5 gallons and the fresh water tank has only 10 gallons. Not good for boondocking or dry camping. And look at the small kitchen sink with the LEFT SIDE faucet. What were they thinking?
Okay so I looked up the cost of a rove lite trailer, about 23K. Obviously they likely have multiple versions and there could be some variation dealer to dealer. thanks for video... Could you please just start your videos with the price? I'd like to know from the get go if this thing is something I should even be listening to. And it turns out I should not have listened so it cost me 16 minutes. ukh. anyway nice to see what's available in the market.
Amazing the weight is so low for that length. Too bad the interior layout is not well organized. Bed is way too small for couples. If things were shifted around inside this would be perfect
It's too bad that sport king out of Idaho isn't in business anymore they had a 16-ft fully self-contained trailer that was just a shade over 1600 lb with fully insulated floor and walls.
i lived in a wood heated Travel Lite for ten years. Great architecture! Mine was a 21' with plenty room. sad the company is out of business. I would buy an old Rove Lite in a hot minute. not impressive decoration but suits me with a full bathroom, black water-gray tank and refrigerator. essentials for long trips and no public contact. shower outside is kinda nice too. this is a hippie van. no one but poor survivalists would care about the low lbs. everyone else wants big big big with glass shower doors and designer shower heads boo!!!!!!
Hitch A-frame needs to be plated. Needs at least one Trailer hitch receiver, 3 would be better. Most people put Solar and or a cargo box on top further increasing height and reducing clearance. Note; Curb weight is for no water and unloaded. Weights can rapidly increase once trailer is ready for use so max load could be easily compromised. It is hard the beat the classic layout. Dinette in front. Full sized bed in the rear, though, I prefer the reverse of that layout so when your at a campsite your looking out the back which usually gives you a better view of the territory and more privacy, Standard garage door height is 7-Ft. and usually a bit less with trim. An 8-Ft. door opening is usually about 7-10-1/2". with trim. A 10'x10' door would in most cases be a minimum size which is extremely rare in residential construction. A 10'/12'/16'x 7' are usually sizes. Sometimes newer construction specifies and 8-ft height due to the popularity of SUV's and pickups.
Why do they always find it a necessity to install a stove in all these small campers? I always cook outside and if you do cook inside it just smells the camper up that last for days. Save that space for cabinets or a microwave. A microwave I do use to warm up food.
Did I hear you say Cassette toilet? I don't see the door to pull the cassette out - just see the black tank dumping stuff on the outside. Please give accurate details of how it's built.
no steps? the basic aluminum tuck under the chassis steps will weigh 10 lbs and inexpensive to install at the factory....is this a mistake? I wonder if the 2022's have steps.
Need to see the inside of the fridge. Would like to see couch/bed flat. What are the dimensions. And as other have asked, can it be used in the winter?
It's so hard to find a Handicap friendly rig. This floorplan (and so many others) might lend itself to that if they'd just use a slightly wider door! One dinette seat could be omitted for the wheelchair user. A more accessible wet bath would top it off. A portable ramp easily allows access with a helper and/or compact power chair. If only a wider door!!!! Where's the bumper?!
Clayton, excellent review. Looks like this has leaf spring suspension, correct? How many 110 volt outlets are there? Can solar be mounted on the roof with that type of roof? Lastly I don't see a spare tire, could that be mounted under the tongue?
Fred, thanks for the comment and questions. You are correct that this trailer has leaf suspension. There are 3 110V outlets dispersed throughout the inside and one more on the exterior. We can definitely mount solar to the roof of this product. It also looks as though there may be opportunity to mount a spare tire up front between the A-frame rails. Hope this helps.
Seems like there was wood framing in the outdoor storage compartment, I thought he said it was all-aluminum framing? Using that kitchen sink with the side-mounted faucet would drive me nuts.
I've heard lousy customer feedback from woodys. Their after the sale customer service sucks. Pray nothing breaks or you are screwed. My buddy bought a trailer from them. Had plumbing issues and they didn't care they referred him to everyone else but failed to fix the issues.
David, although not favourable we do appreciate your feedback. We’re disappointed to hear of the challenge your friend had. Not sure how long ago it was or if this is an ongoing issue, we’re happy to try and assist. We would always encourage any potential customer to review the dealers before making a purchase. If you’re curious on how we compare to others please Google “Woody’s RV Leduc”, here you’ll see feedback from our clients. Although we’re not perfect, we do hope this helps put yours or anyone else’s mind at ease in choosing to do business with us. Thank you again for your feedback!! 😀
In general, whenever you see a tow rating, think 20% less that you can actually tow. So, you would be at 1,600 lbs and that is likely not an ideal thing with the trailer at 1,838 lbs. Hope that helped.
I have the same towing limit on our Ford escape. Even though they rate it at 2,000lbs like yours if you tow for any amount of time at that weight you're going to wreck the transmission in no time at all and those newer Ford automatics aren't the best more durable transmissions to start with. So the anwser is no. If Ford would stop putting these little 1.5 or 1.6 liters in all their small trucks and suv and stick with the larger 2.0 liter they used for awhile as their base engines yod be alot better off also. Our old Escape had a 3,500lb tow rating and was great for towing a small trailer. New one is not really made for that.
From the company's website: "composite floor and aluminum chassis, all interior panels are Azdel composite and the seamless poured resin fiberglass roof is one piece from bumper to hitch." The shell is Hydro-Lite material which I'm assuming is made by this company?
True, but your tow vehicle could house clothing or items you didn't need on a daily basis...or you could invest in a rooftop storage for your vehicle. Any teardrop or micro camper is gonna be short on storage, don't you agree? I really like a more minimalist approach, but that's just me.
As a fellow salesman quick tip. The vast majority of cell phones record in 1080p if not 4K in 2022. If you don't have a high end camera I recommend borrowing a Galaxy S21 or 22 or a newer Iphone from an employee or friend. The quality of this video is not good and the interior shots are blurry.
Actual inside portion of the tour starts at 9:49.
Thank you.
This video didn't need to take 10 minutes of viewing what little there is of the outside to get inside. That monotone voice was ripping out my lifeforce. Thank you Veronica :)
You are my hero
Not all hero's wear capes
I don't remember seeing a video that has almost a ten minute "intro".
😴
DUDE……… CAN WE SEE THE INSIDE ALREADY
🤣
Omg..right
I skipped the BS to 9:50
I was thinking the same thing
He was just a little embarrassed to do the inside (as in, not that much to see here folks)
Priced around $20K if anyone's wondering.
14 foot with that kitchen! WOW! I do like bigger refrigerator but you can’t get that in a 14 foot. Great set up nice place to work, good sink.
1,838 pounds is the weight number that I have been looking for on this unit. That’s what makes this thing appealing to me. Best video on RUclips of this Rv.
Check out Taylor Coach in Ontario Canada he’s shipping them all over
Finally something just right for puppy and I. I am an average height for a woman at 5 foot 5. And I would fit in here perfectly
Checked with a dealer in Georgia, and the selling price on the 14FL is $23k+. That's with the AC, brakes, awning, and one propane tank.
I bought the 14BH model and absolutely live it. These little campers are great.
Thank you for sharing Randall!! Glad to hear you’re loving your new Rove Lite!!😀
What's s the cost of this Randall?
Owners manual says do not use anti sway or weight distribution hitch. What do you use to tow? Does it sway much, high way driving?
Do you find the 5 gallon back water tank too small?
Lovely. A very nice looking camper, lightweight yet strong construction, lots of nice amenities. Looks good to this sports fan.
I love the shelf in the bathroom, the counter space and there's so much storage, even a separate sitting area. I wish we had these available in Southern California and I would have bought one!
I love the way you have the marker lights turned on during the recording.
Takes a piece of scrap electrical household wire to do that. Simply pin the hot lead to the running lights on the trailer connector. I see people do this all the time at our campground.
It needs a stone guard on front and a spare tire on rear. Also could use a ladder on rear for getting to the roof
Looks very nice, but it does need a rock guard on the front.
It's not just the weight that matters, aerodynamics and frontal surface area are especially important at cruising speeds. Thanks for sharing.

Good catch, I imagine cooking or showering while crouched would be awkward, but otherwise stopping to move around the cabin wouldn't be too bad.
Very detailed. Will you be doing a walkthru of the 14BH model?
I like this one seen alot of em but this is one I would actually consider purchasing thank you
This is Awesome ! Thank you for the details 😊🤠😊🤠😊😊

Love this RV
Based on the weight of this trailer and the fact that it is just my wife and me, I think that we just found the perfect trailer for us!
Very impressive for such a small camper.
I like it! To me it's a toss up between this and the Tab 320. Very nice!
He talked for almost 10 minutes before we could see inside. 👎

Great looking restroom. It reminds me of a number of the restrooms in asia.
A squat toilet?
It’s beautiful!!
The rambling is real
How much??
$23,000 to start.
16'6" length
8'1" tall
7'11" wide
200 lb tongue weight
1,838 lb dry weight
10ft power awning
Just doing the lords work

this is brand new, how are they out of business?
like it so much! i just wish i can afford it!
No rock protection?
Not bad!!!! Everything you need
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! 💖💖💖
Why can’t you put folding steps? What upgrade did you do?
I just love this product!
Omg i love this model my car could tow it easily, I wish I could afford one
What’s the problem oldest year of this model?

I don’t use a microwave……🤔
Hi, if the camper has a bumper, how much weight could you put onto it before it sways? Thanks
Did I hear you say Cassette toilet? I don't see the door to pull the cassette out - just see the black tank dumping stuff on the outside. Please give accurate details of how it's built.
At 9:44 you get a look inside
Thank you.
Is there an issue with wind blowing it around on the road? Or when semis pass?
My thoughts as well
no steps? the basic aluminum tuck under the chassis steps will weigh 10 lbs and inexpensive to install at the factory....is this a mistake? I wonder if the 2022's have steps.
My class c didn't come with steps either. I bought a nice folding aluminum set. seen plastic too
Can that trailer come without a bathroom and no outside speakers....also no tv or microwave just a basic trailer...and price????
Found the price on some website.
"SALE PRICE:$26,999"
That is just crazy.
Daaaaaaaaang
Thank Biden’s loony admin 💯❗️

According to SoA website, your Crosstrek has a max tow weight of 1,500 lbs. My '20 Outback Premium can tow up to 2,700 lbs.
BRILLIANT 💜 BEAUTIFUL 💜
Need to see the inside of the fridge. Would like to see couch/bed flat. What are the dimensions. And as other have asked, can it be used in the winter?
Is the fridge electric only? Not electric or propane?
Where do you store the sewer hose and such? I only saw one exterior hatch and it is on the right front, nowhere near the tanks.

Please do the 14BH model.

Can a 2003 two door TJ Jeep Wrangler tow this one?

In general, whenever you see a tow rating, think 20% less that you can actually tow. So, you would be at 1,600 lbs and that is likely not an ideal thing with the trailer at 1,838 lbs. Hope that helped.
It could do it in theory. I definitely would not tow it with a maverick regularly or medium to long distances.
