The 3B stands for "3-in-a-bed" which is when three darts land in a single segment. Some people play so that you can only score a mark on the 3B segment by using one of the other numbers in play. Using a standard game as an example, you could hit three darts in the outer single 20 to get a mark, but if you hit all three darts in the outer single 5 it wouldn't count. It's also possible to play where any segment counts, just make sure you clarify the rule with whoever you are playing with. Regardless of how you play though, you can only choose to score a mark on one of them. So three outer single 20s could either count for all three 20 marks, or it could count as one 3B mark, but not both.
@@Gldproductsmfg awesome ty- just to clarify, it has to be all single 20’s? Like if u hit 2 single 20’s and a double 20 that doesn’t count for the 3 in a bed?
@@josephromero1596 That is correct, this is how more serious darters play. One way to think about it is that none of the darts are separated from each other by a wire. But it's worth mentioning that darts by nature is a very flexible game and there are plenty of casual players who say that as long as three darts hit the same wedge - so in this example anywhere in the 20, single, double, or treble - it can count for the 3B. The most important thing is to clarify the rules with whoever you are playing against.
Great explanation, thank you!
thanks, the explanation in Yakuza 0 wasn't good enough, now I can actually pass that mini game
whats the 3B mean on ur scoreboard? mine has the same thing
