Great to see Steve. The first three albums are about as good as it gets for me. Also, the band who for me wrote the best and sharpest late 70s pop singles. "Love You More" is 105 seconds of sheer perfection.
Good interview i still love Buzzcocks! Liverpool had it's own scene going on as well even before Sex Pistols played Eric's with groups like Deaf School and Spitfire Boys ( Pre Frankie goes to Hollywood members)
... tell that to JJ Burnel of The Stranglers ... just celebrated a 50 Yr anniversary with a Tour and will be joined by The Buzzcocks in Aug in the 7,500 capacity Piece Hall in Halifax.
Steve can get better bookings using the name and at least was a founder, songwriter and singer on some tracks. Cannot fault him as he loves to play and could use some cash.
Seeing the Buzzcocks in 2 weeks (September 29, 2024) in Bozeman, MT and I’m very excited!

Love this interview, Steve seems really well. Looking forward to his new book. Love is lies is a great tune.
He is a beautiful soul.

Seeing Buzzcocks in a few weeks in Hong Kong
Pete Shelley’s songs were the best.
I haven't seen them since Pete died. I am looking forward to it, though. Took time to come around, but I love diggles material
Does Diggle come with subtitles??? God love em still going 😊
Never heard of them. But know Leyton Buzzards was proper
First class 👍
Great songs undoubtedly live on, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to tour with only one remaining member...

@glennm2000 No, that would be Colin Blunstone & Rod Argent
@glennm2000 Joke = Blunstone & Argent are in a band called “The Zombies.”
