For those who don't know, John Holiday has sung at the Metropolitan Opera or at Carnegie Hall, he tours with the Los Angeles Orchestra directed by Dudamel and the New York Orchestra, two of the best philharmonic orchestras in the world. For those who don't just know, John Holiday is so versatile that he also sings jazz, pop and gospel. For those who don't know, John is an extraordinary pianist. For those who don't know, John Holiday is one of the best singers in the world. For those who don't know, John Holiday is a prodigy.

K J na man hes a countertenor there are some countertenors that aren’t tenors, baritones, or basses who train their head voice and falsetto to sound and reach the heights of a soprano. There are some true countertenors who have the range and tone of a soprano or alto they sing soprano repertoire with their full voices its a misconception that countertenors only use falsetto and that there is no true countertenor that sings soprano in full voice. John Holiday is an example of a true Countertenor.

No one could outsing this brotha on the Voice......PERIOD I think his coach (John Legend) tried to lead him towards more pop songs to appeal to the shows audience, but he's clearly a Opera and Jazz singer. Had he stayed in his element, he would have easily won on the show.

There are few singers that can make me say "OH man!" within the first 30 seconds. John is one of those. It is still unexpected when he hits those first few high, clear as a bell notes. Wait, did an angel just decide to bless us mortals with a song?
