I can't wait until Angelus can have a bigger pond. He is just insanely gorgeous. The name fits him perfectly. He literally looks like an amazingly beautiful vampire covered in diamonds. Prettiest crocodile or alligator I have ever seen. I hope that you all are donated millions upon millions. You're doing a great service especially in the state of Florida.

Last week, the temperature difference between Wisconsin and Florida was barely 5 degrees. Today, the high temperature was 8 degrees by me. We don't usually get it this bad for another month and a half or so. I'm so glad you guys got some warmth and sunshine today!

Could Dino regress now that he’s not getting the regular supplements you’ve been putting in his food prior to the cold weather?

They'd probably go back to giving him an injection like before he was eating if its too cold to feed him the meds in the food.
They also gave him meds through the feeding tube but the vet does that !!
I worry too but they probably know way more than us about him .., He looked so lethargic

I’m surprised Bella didn’t high walk over to see what was going on. I hope you’re able to get the two prairie dogs. You said they’re in rough shape. I’m guessing someone got them as pets and had no clue in hell how to care for them. Sometimes people just…ugh! 😡 Ocala and Clover are so cute together. They seem to enjoy each other’s company. I didn’t see Bam. Was she out shopping? 😉 Chris, our weather in Knoxville TN has been crazy too. Tuesday some of us were able to sit on the porch for a while, and we actually got hot and had to go inside. Yesterday it was 39 degrees. The weather is like a roller coaster. Hope you start to feel better soon. I heard Gabby sneeze. God bless you Gabby. Have a wonderful start to your weekend. Hugs to you both and all the animals. 💕
His head size is ENORMOUS compared to your tiny little arm 💪 😮 My goodness!! He's a big dude! And to think you almost lost him makes him that much more precious! Truth be told, I've missed seeing your gators! Not so much with the crocs... I haven't had "enough time" to bond with them!!😂🤣😆

Yes. Chris said they were finding the concrete only enclosures were running just too expensive. They’d been looking for alternatives, and they are trying this as a potential solution.

How often does Dino need his meds to prevent further lead absorption? Does the cold weather (and lack of appetite) pose a problem in that regard, or does their slowed metabolism also mean slower lead absorption?
Chris what kind of phone do you use that does not get all scratched or cracked from the Emus.
