My husband and i only listen to Christian music, we don't watch secular movies, or watch programs, except for sports thst he watches. I also listen to sermons and teachings all day and through the night. That has helped me learn about the love of God and who i am in Christ, and go deeper into my relationship with Christ and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority Jesus gave me under His Name when I'm attacked by the enemy. Glory to God!🙏🏽💞

I love this! I once did a month of only Christian music. Probably one of the best months of my life! While I don’t think that secular music is necessarily bad to listen to secular music on occasion (there are some REALLY good songs out there, and sometimes you just need a good beat or a cry session), I love the positivity Christian music brings into my life. I try to make a point to listen to some every day! Thank you so much for this video, and for encouraging people like me to really draw closer to God, and to love Him and worship Him even in our music.

I listen to Christian Rap all of the time and it definitely gets me hyped up to spread gods word and reminds me of who I am and that I’m one created in the image of god
Have you ever listened to t-bone? I remember listening to him way back in the 90s. 🤣🤣 Demon executor reminds me of the old school rap from the 90s if you're into that. It's def an old school style but back then it was legit and pretty solid. I still like it now 😂😂😂

I love this! There is a Christian radio station that offers a “30 day challenge” and it has truly changed me! I have given up most secular music - it’s horrible frequencies too for us! God bless you!!

Point 4 is literally sooooo true! Like I can’t tell you how many times worship music has helped me relax and unwind! It’s gotten me through so much!
FOR REAL and when I need to just decompress myself I put on like Maverick city and stuff and like feel so good when I cry to these songs tbh
As a Christian girl I made a change last year to go from Kpop music to only Christian music. It has definitely change my everyday life. I feel closer to good by worshipping him every day at every moment I can. My mind is focus on him even at work. It has also made me feel confident and I worried less because it reminds he has everything under control. I’m not going back to other type of music. Worshipping him is all I want to do now. He is king!🙌🏽✨.

I love music, but recently I got tired of hearing so much swearing and cursing in a lot of songs. I always found Christian music boring... but I gave it a chance again.
Cannot be happier! I'm now listening to the Christian music on the radio and I've stopped being so angry in the car while I drive. I'm no longer anxious and always brings me back to God... instead of dwelling on bad thoughts.
I agree with you brother ! I gave my entire life to the Lord back in June 2022. I immediately stopped listening to secular all together because I knew if I wanted to continue growing my relationship with Jesus. I had to cut off anything worldly. Of course it’s hard to avoid when you go to store have dinner etc.. but I do feel a huge difference in my walk. For those who struggle with this, IT IS POSSIBLE. The beginning is always challenging but allow yourself to be loved by the Lord and he will give the strength 🤍

This video is so encouraging to me because I have been trying to listen to Christian music more than secular. I now want to delete every secular song in my playlist because I now have an understanding of why you should listen to Christian music it is so healthy for your soul and it keeps you set apart from this world. I started my journey to listen only gospel music in December last year. I completely agree with you and your points on Gospel Music. Songs that are secular, depressing and vulgar aren't pleasing the spirit nor the mind.

Honestly before I was still living for the world one day I went to church and was listening to a pastor who said worldly music is not good for you he was preaching so hard that I felt that God was speaking to me and my heart so I ended up going home In deleting my playlist because it was just sad depressing music all the time so I turn to gospel and started crying and never heard music like it my life turn around there was many more moments like this for me that just change my life now I am a follower of the one who save me I am his

I carpooled with a Holiness girl to class in nursing school. She always had it playing. It isn't too bad. Kind of grows on you. The modern Christian music I mean. The oldest stuff can send me into a depressive spiral.

I'm so thankful that I got into the habit of listening to Christian music with my kids when they were young; it's always on our radio when we're in the car and when they go to sleep at night. We all prefer it for the reasons you mentioned!

My parents used to listen to some secular music back in the days. But before I was born, they threw all the secular music away. So I’ve been raised with christian music only! And I’m so happy about it and thankful! There are so many good christian artists out there, that you don’t need the secular stuff.
It was when I went to school that I heard non-christian music sometimes. And a few of these songs I played at home, but I didn’t feel comfortable listening to it. And I’ve talked with my parents about it. So since that moment I’ve decided to never ever listen non-christian music again and to only focus on the good christian music!❤️😃 Now it’s about twenty years later and my favorite christian music list goes on and on!
A few of my favorite artists are Beckah Shae, TobyMac, T-Bone, Sam Rivera, Capital Kings, Britt Nicole and Chris Howland.😃

My husband only listens to Christian music. He doesn't judge anyone who listens to secular music, but for him music is so influential to him that secular music is not good for him. Plus, he said music is one of the main ways the Lord speaks to him. And over time, I have found myself listening to secular music less and less. And I think he has a point lol. It really does make a big difference on the days where I listen to it vs the days I don't. Oh plus he knows all the great Christian music that no one has ever heard of. For example, he loves heavier music and one of his favorite bands is Demon Hunter. I don't like heavy music, but I love their acoustic stuff. Super deep and intense lyrics that glorify the Lord. Fear is Not my Guide is my favorite of their songs.

I have only listened to Christian music since I can remember. Always Christian radio on in the car, my playlist filled with for king and country, and Tobymac. Every night I turn on the radio to K-Love and listen for about a half an hour before I go to bed. Makes me happy!

You are right, I switched to Christian music last year when my life fell apart, I just couldn't listen to anything else! That’s all I listen to since a year ago straight now. I only listen to some secular songs like H.E.R and Celine dion and Mariah Carey and those types of older songs on occasion to the point I don’t even remember some of the lyrics. It’s funny to think before I came to God that’s the one thing I didn’t want to give up, my secular music filled with violence and stupidity. All glory to God that He gives me multiple artist and songs in all genres that I like to listen. Even in rap! Rap music gets me hype by nature but now I’m hype for Jesus! Hallelujah!!!
Yeah there's plenty of good a rap music in the Christian genre that's what I listen to half the time I like that new swoope record you should check it out and I tried to Listen to 21 new record I only got five songs in and I gave up cuz he talked about the same things and it was so discouraging

I don’t expect you to do this, but if you want, you should try to listen to bands like war of ages and darkness divided. Christian metal bands are amazing. My favorite Christian artist is Saving Grace (Christian Death Metal. I know I know, the name “death metal is synonymous for THAT kind of metal. But you gotta believe when I say it only praises God in the most epic, blood-pumping, and guttural way.)

I have been into death, thrash, power type of metal since the early 90s. Christian metal also from the same era. Since getting myself back on track with God mid April I started listening to nothing but Christian music. No movies or tv shows. Did watch chucky and a horror movie but I feel the Lord is directing me to a clean life without distractions. I feel more connected now than I ever have been.

You're an inspiration cuz I really need help in this area lol I grew up in a Christian house I'll be listening to his Christian music but then I started getting introduced to other music and I liked it. But I mainly stick to Christian music anytime I'm alone in the car basically the only time I don't is if I'm in the gym or with somebody else
You forgot another point. As Christians, we don't need that much music time to distract ourselves and listening for 24h can seem like a hard task - at least for me. We need some quiet time in order to read our bible, hear our Lord and also to say our prayers 😅

If you ever do a challenge like this again, probably do it without earbuds, music funneled into your ears for longer than 5 hours can cause permanent damage to your ears.
