Watching you eat at various barbeque places, I had to see if there were any near me in NE Ohio. I found one about 15 minutes away. It's a chain, but I may have to give it a try. Looks like they offer the traditional menu that you find, even collard greens with pork, John!

I have been eating greens all my life I put a little white vinegar on them or some places have a pepper vinegar I put a couple of drops on them it really adds to the flavor

We had Hoss Hog BBQ in September, is was alright. Not the best but not the worste I have had. The mac and cheese was like Stoufers mac and cheese. I had the greens and they where salty. My husband liked his pulled pork and the cole slaw and beans he said tated good. The grandkids liked their food as did my daughter and her husband. It was $148. for the seven of us to eat so not to bad for the meal. The pulled pork was the best part of the meal as far as I was concerned.
We have a place that's been in business about a hundred years in the family.. they smoke their meat.. they put it on a Kaiser like bun with sweet relish and if you want barbecue sauce they do have their homemade it is so good I'm not one for ribs but Bobby's sandwich looks so good😊
You can't beat Memphis BBQ in Horn Lake MS. you were there a year or so ago. Also in Byhalia MS is Brick house BBQ. Great eats and just about 15 minutes from memphis. I enjoy all your videos! Happy Easter ❤
I’ve never been to Memphis but I do know good Bbq. Those ribs looked properly cooked ( to my surprise) . I would try this place to see if they were as good as they looked but everything else looked ok at best. Serving size and price looked reasonable.Thanks for the tour!

I only eat ribs if they are baby back ribs, those looked good but I'd pass. Bobbi's sandwich looked really good and the beans looked delicious. We've decided at Easter to order take out BBQ from a local bbq place, family style includes 2 racks of baby backs, 2 half smoked chickens and a bunch of sides. I think everyone will be happy with that for dinner. Thanks for taking us along for your lunch. Happy Easter to the two of you.
As we All say in Texas if the right rub and smoke is used , you should not need to use Barbecue sauce, because that usually just covers up the meats true flavor, at least Boss Hoggs gave it all to you without smothering it in sauce as some restaurants tend to do including Bucees, we always have to tell them to put the sauce on the side , but usually use are own favorite sauce at home 😊👍
I usually dont care for rub, but John does. But with the rub they used, I didn't need any sauce. The pulled pork was very tender. I agree with you about putting the sauce on the side. We appreciate you watching and commenting. 😎😎
I do not eat pulled pork but my local food store does a pulled pork sandwich for $3.50 I never get one. I usually get their Cheesesteak for $3.50 or I get the Reuben which is also $3.50 and really worth it. They also do a really good meatball sandwich for the same price. ❤
I bet J does not like spinach either 😂 but that's alright, we did enjoy it. We have been by there many times but have never stopped, mit have to try it.

I think Bobbi's meal was worth the price, considering these days for a sandwich and 2 sides. I would have liked more if they included the drink in that price, but today is today, right? Same with John's meal. But ribs are usually fairly expensive no matter what. So it wasn't terrible at all. If you go back, I would love to know if their mac & cheese is good, the dumplins too (!), and if you get the sausage sandwich. I usually love those!
They should go to a junkyard and get a General Lee car body, then paint it like the Dukes of Hazzard TV series, also have Waylon Jennings Greatest Hits playing with speakers.

Oh I definitely agree that the best bbq is in Memphis....easily :) Would love to see y'all do Preachers Smokehouse while doin your bbq tour. I've seen a lot of reviews on it and wow. In addition to bbq there are two soups~white chicken chili and new brunswick stew. They also have a fried honey bun. Their hours are a little wonky tho. Lovin the bbq videos guys, and if you do go to Preachers would love to see ya do lots of sides. I don't want much huh. lol Have a great day!

That restaurant has a lot of character and I really like the windows painted art work. All that food looks so good. I like collard greens and they are so good for you. I don’t know if that’s why my mom’s side of the family have long lives but they ate a lot of collard greens. Grandma was right to say eat your veggies especially greens. Thanks for sharing❤️

Would love to see y'all do Preachers Smokehouse while doin your bbq tour. I've seen a lot of reviews on it and wow. In addition to bbq there are two soups~white chicken chili and new brunswick stew. They also have a fried honey bun. Their hours are a little wonky tho. Lovin the bbq videos guys, and if you do go to Preachers would love to see ya do lots of sides. I don't want much huh. lol Have a great day!

That restaurant has a lot of character and I really like the windows painted art work. All that food looks so good. I like collard greens and they are so good for you. I don’t know if that’s why my mom’s side of the family have long lives but they ate a lot of collard greens. Grandma was right to say eat your veggies especially greens. Thanks for sharing❤️
