Nathan is the top jazz musician who appears all across the modern music industry like Lee Ritenour did. It was amazing that two were in a band Fourplay for 20 years. My point is we are living with the legends!
The wonderful thing about Nathan is that he can hold back. With expertise like his, it's easy to fall into the trap of overdoing. But he stays locked in and lets out some bits of magic every so often.

Please note if you do not listen to this song on a decent sound system you are not doing this song justice! The bass is so smooth and when you hear it you can feel the smoothness of it this song is so Smooth and with a good combo of highs mids and lows its amazingly satisfying ! good stuff not given enough recognition

He´s one the greatest bass players of all time...he is a giant, ..so many recordings with many many other artists. Unbelievable!
This song was written by Michael Thompson, long-time guitarist with Nathans own touring band, and plays guitar on the track. Nathan has the magic funky feel in his fingers!

Posting this twice because I know this has been out for quite awhile: My husband recently purchased this. Have always been a longtime fan of FourPlay. I love this and 101 Eastbound! I've been listening to this over and over again. The whole album is pretty incredible, outstanding.
We are headed to France in about a week and I can't wait to be zipping through the French countryside on the TGV listening to this album as the soundtrack of our experiences! PS: love the upbeat 101 Eastbound from the original!

Took til 2014 for Nathan to go solo and somehow he's completely in touch with the modern music scene while also bringing in his decades of experience. One of the coolest bass players ever.
