Oh congrats. Most Miracast work on 2.4ghz so having them sadly behind the display is main reason the screen gets pixeled. Ether have your phone sit underneath the display and pair a keyboard/mouse (Bluetooth), or controller. Or get a hdmi extension to bring the miracast dongle infront or peeking out of the display area. Or try connecting to a smart-tv which has a casting built into it.
What is neat is you can do this on PC to with built in windows miracast projection/connect. But somehow the mouse is sluggish when doing it on PC (using a BT or connected mouse or touchpad.). And the PC's mouse won't work (it'll take your mouse away for a second, but you won't be able to control it. Only way to get it back is windows key or ctrl/alt/delete tactic to bring task manager up,etc.). But the keyboard does if the window is selected.

Nice video. I like real racing but it's more fun with a controller then using the tilt to steer in my opinion. Thanks for sharing the free steering wheel I will have to give that a try.

Have you tried wireless dex with the HP Elite lapdock? The HP Elite x3 had wireless Continuum a long time ago via miracast that worked with the lapdock.

What about regular screen mirroring? Do you think it would stream a little Smoother as opposed to dex taking up a lot of power and ram? I think when playing games it's better to let the phone mirror vs be in dex

My sentiments exactly. Wouldn't this work with regular mirroring and no Dex? Did he do this to keep the screen pretty much black?

@@VegitoBlackityBlack Screen mirror will have no difference from Mirrored mode to Dex. It still requires similar data for processing the video playback. And most time when mirroring/miracast. It works on 2.4ghz, Which is pretty finicky on data. So less 2.4ghz devices running around the likely better.
But also if you can get your miracast device to peek from the TV and be exposed to the device connecting to it, the better. Because line of sight data will run faster/smoother picture then it sitting behind a wall bouncing the signal around the TV/Wall.
If you use a Smart TV with built in casting, It'd probably work better since the antenna cables for the casting are normally along the front basil of the TV, which will make cast transmitting much better then having a dongle site behind the system, And has a much stronger power for the transmitting performance.

There is pretty much the same experience with miracast protocol ebedded in my 4K smart TV made by Samsung and also with my Lenovo miracast dongle which wasnt really cheap (about 60usd). Don't think the dongle with smooth gaming ability even exist. Or does anybody have better experience with the dongles?

Amazon reviews in general are difficult to trust. Sellers are always offering products for free to get 5 star reviews.

I was sent an Xbox Series S instead of the X I ordered and gave a low review and they sent out the real Series X for free as a reward for changing my review to 5 stars after they emailed me and asked me to change it for a free Series X.
