Thanks for making this! I received my head strap a few weeks ago and finally opened it up to put it on and noticed there’s NO Instructions!! Crazy! Maybe they’re trying to save a tree? IDK kinda silly. So Your video was the first one I saw and it was extremely easy to do. Just a little harder for me since my Old timer hands don’t work as well as they used to! Anyway, thank you! Great job! The only negative with this whole thing is Pimax should Include this thing with the headset! It should automatically come with it! In the mean time they should include a quick eruption guide or a link to Your Video!

It's great, but the installation of the foam at the end looks super jank.

Suggestion, need to have a Velcro spot over the microphone screw. That would be nice if it came with. But it is something we can purchase easily off Amazon. The Topstrap really helps. Thanks.

Strap not very comfortable, but it definitely helps with headset positioning a lot.

Just a suggestion, can we get some foam strips to insert between the face bracket and the comfort foam, so the edges of the comfort foam are more curved around the users head... like 1cm more curved ?
The Comfort Topstrap would have been delivered to European warehouses, but I can't find a link anywhere on the Pimax website to order it

what if we don't use speakers? are we screwed?
I just received the comfort mod. But I cannot use it ! I don't have the earphones installed, because I use my Crystal with a speaker setup. The long black screw is just completely loose. It doesn't attach to anything. How can I use the comfort mod without the earphones? Second issue is that when I tried to remove the pads(at 27 seconds of the video), that the 2 "glued pieces" that are part of the HMD to keep the velco of the pad's stuck, got loose of the Crystal. Please advice me what to do now.

Are there any plans to make some kind of ventillation fan accessory for this? The lenses fog up all the time for me which is really distracting having to constantly take the headset off and wipe the lenses. Would be really nice if you created some kind of fan attachment to provide ventillation in the viewing area of the headset to prevent that. Another accessory that I think you should create is grip straps for the controllers. All the third party ones I've found are specifically for oculus/meta and won't work with these. You already have full finger tracking on these so grip straps would really improve the experience.
I equip my armor to mount Pimax Crystal, now the headset is floating in front of my face, zero weight on my head. So I want to share this.

how about just making a headset that doesnt cause facial disfiguration on westerners?
"Facial disfiguration"? This is the first headset I've used which doesn't leave marks on my face when I'm done using it even without a top strap. It's definitely way more comfortable with a top strap though, it should really come with this already pre-installed, we're talking about a $20 accessory that surely could just be included out of the box.
The Crystal is designed actually for US & EU users, which make up most of the users of the headset.

No no no...just like any headset, eg Meta the standard strap is terrible.. that's why we have 3rd party company with mods
Step 1 : Give up on confort (because with that weight and how it's distributed, the headset will never be)

To some maybe. I honestly find it very comfortable after a bit of foam modding. More so than my Reverb G2.

The headset is very comfortable.. although if you have a small face..mod it with vive pro comfort kit 16mm
