@@FROST-kx4hi Let me know what you think. They are getting very popular--simplicity at its finest, I think. I only know one guy who didn't like them, but he has flat feet and apparently narrow feet (which seems odd). Anyway, he needed more stability and maybe the ones he got were too big for him anyway. But if you do have flat feet, I'd still go for Nike. My feet are beat up after years of training so I use them when my arches are bothering me.
@@gogboxing5655 So I had my first boxing session with them two days ago and they felt really good. I had more grip and speed and just felt like you described it in the video. Today I did a gym session in them and once again they felt really good. Perhaps not that good to do squats in them but for movement and everything else I like them for now. Im doing bag work on wednesday so thats when I'll actually see full potential of them :)
Nike comes from the Greek word "Νίκη" which means victory. Machomai comes from the Greek word "μάχομαι" which means I'm fighting in a battle. The pronounce is mahome with the intonation on letter "a". Nice review.
how is the box hog 2 hanging rn? after a year of use, is the durability that good? I live in egypt so getting a 70-100$ shoes every 1-2 years is not easy for me, so along all the pros, i really want something that would live with me for years so i don't need to replace it again
Unbelievably great. Seriously. I make sure not to use them on concrete--only on a good floor/boxing floor (or sometimes at home) so they tread doesn't wear, but I do three to five workouts a week, plenty of jump rope, etc. There was a gap (a few gaps) when I was sick, but I have to recommend these 100 percent. They also feel like the boxing boots I had in the 80s. Seriously great. I've noticed a lot of people wearing them recently.
Thanks! The algo is irritating, as it used to be normal, but then it changed as I'm posting from Europe... You can see the difference in old vid stats (and not just because they have been up a while). Oh well. Anyway, just put up something new, complete with a big bump on my forehead from getting tagged by a heavyweight while sparring.
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 yea bro they are discontinued but they have the nike hyper ko 2.0 they are not as good tho try searching on ebay i ordered nike hyperko but im size 14 they have big sizes only
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 but im pretty sure they have normal sizes on ebay if not get the machomai2 or venum elite they are one of the best atleast for me
I think any of them are fine. Any of them may vary a bit so I'd do what my wife does and order a couple of sizes of the one you prefer and send back the ones you don't like.
!!! You are right. You can tell I'm a child of the '80s. I think Dukes of Hazzard mode just switched on in my head and I could not turn it off. The hilarious thing is that nobody but you noticed--and after all this time.
I’m from Houston and a term used is boss Hogg so I was double checking making sure I didn’t haven’t mistaken haha great work on your channel keep it up brother
Awesome review! Thank you because I was struggling to decide
Thanks. I should say that the Adidas have held up surprisingly well--better than I expected simply because they are not all leather like the Nikes.
@@gogboxing5655 i just bought them 😁 good to hear that then haha. I have session later tonight so can't wait to try them
@@FROST-kx4hi I really prefer them over the Nikes in the end. They feel like old-school ones I had when I was a kid. I think you'll like them anyway.

Nice review and opinions👍
Thanks!
Great review, been trying to get either pair in Australia but no one here seems to stock size 14s 😢
They seem to appear and then disappear--I'd keep a lookout for them, however, as I'm still using the Adidas and greatly prefer them these days.

Which pair would support a high arch better? I have a high arch and can't do a flat sole
Nikes--no comparison. Definitely will support your feet better.
@@gogboxing5655 that's what i was thinking. I want the hyper ko's but they are extremely hard to find anymore. I think Nike discontinued them.
