Nicely done! And it looked like a fun and interesting day for you! Let's hope NJ Transit makes an annual thing out of this. Back in the 1990's and through the early 2000's NJT would hold an "Open House / Rail Festival" at the Hoboken Terminal. Unfortuately it was discontinued due to post-9/11/2001 security concerns plus costs. Thanks for posting!
And thank you for watching Wayne!!! Appreciate you letting me know they used to do that I did not know!!! It would definitely be something if they did this often. Every day out on the rails is a fun day 🍻 from Jersey
@@JerseyRailProductions Say, if you're really interested in those Hoboken Rail Festivals there was a video (originally VHS, now remastered to DVD) by Railroad Video Productions done in 1991 titled "Pascack Valley Line Cab Ride / Montclair Line / Hoboken Festival 1990." The Hoboken Festival is well documented and it looks like it was one hell of a party! The DVD's available from Train Video Depot for $26.95. Sorry, but I can't give you the direct links because RUclips will drop the whole reply if I do. But I don't think you'll have any trouble finding it on your own. When I bought the DVD myself about 15 years ago I binge-watched it for a week! I enjoyed it that much!
