For enfps sometimes the dull day to day is harder than the scary new. It feels like your feet are stuck in mud as you are trying to walk through daily boring tasks. But podcasts, the "carrot" of a new thing to learn once chores are done, even a new way to do chores can brighten my mind and make my day better. Getting out of my comfort zone is taking my time. That's not always comfortable. Taking time to really learn something (not just skim and move one). Taking time to complete a task well (not just good enough). Taking time to let others speak...lol Kidding..kinda. Just slowing down and being present. That's my challenge!
Work and grow at-- being more comfortable with people, being more “MYSELF” and owing it More of-- friends, activities, money, joy, passion, Less of-- lingering on “bad” stuff… Proud of-- konmari process :D
That actually feels a bit “too” personal to share all that 😆 (also idk if it’s totally accurate, I just wrote whatever came RIGHT away and didn’t think about it).. also maybe you meant for us to contemplate on our own rather than write it in comments!! But hello! Why do you have stitches??? I had the same thought about the glasses glare HAHA!! And also the end is my favorite …. The little clips especially of the attempt of the intro Haha gooddddd stufffssss!!!!!! Ttyl!!!
Theres so much you have to manage! Like so many dates you have to write down. I would be nothing nothing! Without my calendar, where I can write everyhing down, so many details!
As an ENFP, the trick to surviving adulthood is compartmentalizing it. I can't not be a big kid at heart but in the interest of practicalities I have to take care of my stuff. So I pay all my bills online in a few minutes each month, same with paying my rent via eTransfer, then I do my deep cleaning of my apartment with a podcast on. Then I just goof off, learn, explore, socialize, and whatever else. Basically I keep everything besides chores and small cleanups (and work) to just a couple hours per month in a manic rushed expression to escape adulting.
7:00 "feels scary, but actually safe" - that is such a good point. Looking back even to childhood/school, if I felt like there were dire consequences, I could barely learn the minimum. It's only when I felt like it was okay to make mistakes that I would *really* learn it. And like you're saying, it's a far better headspace for growing and being more effective. People who deal in shame... shouldn't. It's toxic, but unfortunately common :( I wish spaces that challenge but don't threaten/shame you to all!
Do you know how weird it is to witness someone (of the opposite sex) mirror almost all of your subtle mannerisms, and the results of an MBTI test (INFJ) is all you can point to for why why this is so?! It's a lovely kind of weird for a change. 🙂
A great demonstration of INFJ conscious introverted thinking building on experience and unconscious introverted intuition. INFJ: indeed look before you leap, but MAKE the leap, challenge yourself, put yourself out on a limb a bit, they hired you because you had the balls and the chutzpah. Play the part.
Yeah money is important to everybody. They really should have comprehensive business education in high school like how to start a small company or how to get involved on wall street.
Adulthood is not a phase of life to grow into, its a final boss to be defeated
