- This video shows how I replace the SpinTech 6331 Muffler for a Full Boar FB2540 (identical to Flowmaster 40 Original design) on the Shop Truck! As usual to the tune of the sweet 454 BBC.
I personally prefer the spintech. They make your engine sound healthier
That second set of mufflers ......were those Jones (full boar) if so they are a good product and sound damn good but im go have to go with the SpinTechs .....
Spintech gets my vote!

Thank you for sharing this. Made my decision to order mufflers for my truck easier. The spin techs gave the cam more pop at idle and that's what I was looking for.
Had blowmasters since 86 on chevelles,gto,cuda,blazer and at least 10 more,they didnt have a competitor unless you wanted muffled sound,billy Boat makes nice stuff and used on my vette,but for a cammed ride ive used Spintech since 2010 and wow what a difference,and they let the sound of cam just hit every note while blowmasters just loud,that spin baffleing is genius for sure instead of chambered walls.

I've heard both in person and honestly think the spintech are louder then the flowmaster

Also a great idea. I was trying to be nice to the neighbors sometimes...That's why I put cutouts on it.
The Flowmaster knock offs sound like most of the other trucks.. I think I would probably go with the spin tech as long as they didn't have that annoying drone at a steady speed...

The SpinTechs may be louder, but I think the Flowmasters have a nicer sound
To me the flowmasters sounded farty when he revved it up.They almost sounded like a glasspack

LOL i just realized something, i never could put my finger on why i dont like flowmasters on most engines, it sounds like autotune for cars 😂😂😂.

Flowmaster knock offs? Why not just pay the full amount and get the real ones, they’re not that expensive.
Good point, but I was having a hard time finding them in the configuration I wanted for some reason…center-in/center-out
Sounds like it needs a crossover. The flowmasters sound slightly better to me. The spintechs sound terrible to me. Neither really sounds that good to me. Just my opinion.
