Matt Pike is a legend. Everything from High On Fire to the new Sleep album/songs are tone heaven. I'm glad that Sleep is doing what it's doing these days. Some would say they are milking the fans, but I think they are giving the fans gifts of new riffs.
What I meant by that comment was that I personally know a few musicians (that really are haters) who have said such nonsense in discussions over the matter. They would say that Sleep hasn't out out any new material since 1999 (but really recorded in 1996) and are putting new stuff out because they've gotten popular again.
