I always say when we're shopping at the supermarket..."Today I gotta make..." because I love your sayings! Happy to see you Gina, you always brighten my day. You look so pretty with your flowers! Xoxo
“I make the frittata now I gotta eat” - my favourite culinary quote ever. Hearty, nutritious food made with love, what could be more delicious? I want to be a part of Gina’s family!
We believe anyone that would put a thumbs down on your video is without soul! ❤️You are the essence of what is truly beautiful in this world. 👍👍👍Your enthusiasm & honesty are so refreshing. Imagine you’re very much like my Italian Nonna. At 104years she was still cooking in the old way. Didn’t need fancy modern equipment to make the most incredibly delicious food. Her arms were strong as someone half her age from working the dough...She too sing while she worked. She said when the heart is happy the food is blessed.❤️🥰❤️ 🥰💐🥰
La nonna preferitta!!!! ❤❤❤❤ I really love you Gina😍😍😍, you're natural grandma, very generous, you make me smile particularly when you telling your storylife it's interesting!!!🥰🥰 God bless you and give you a long long life!!! Kisses from a moroccan girl 🇲🇦 living in France🇨🇵!!!
I Love watching & learning from you! 🌷💗 My Grandmother passed when I was 9 and I miss her dearly. 😥 Oh how I wish I was a little older so I could have learned the recipes & traditions from the "old country" from her. Gardening & Cooking. Thank you for sharing! God Bless 🌷💗🌷💗😊💗🌷💗🌷
I'm not Italian but I feel as though my Mama just gave me a cooking lesson. So much alike, God Bless You and Your Family and Thank You for Your Recipe and Song. Adorable Lovely and Sweet! Bon Appetite.
I love it when Grandma Gina sings.... what an endearing wonderful video log of her... to be shared for generations to come.... I wish I had videos of my Grandma.... what a treasure
I really enjoy watching your videos it’s brings me back to my childhood in watching my Grandmother cook unbelievable dishes in our kitchen, my Grandmother lived upstairs in our house until she passed away in 76 at the age of 86 , You remind me of her very much 👌👌
I've been sick for awhile and haven't had a chance to go back to see if there are any videos I might have missed, but you are definitely the best medicine EVER!!! How I've missed watching you and listening to you sing!! God bless you forever, Gina, you and your beautiful family. 🙏🏼 You will never know how much you have blessed all of us who have come to know you through these videos. You have a HUGE extended family out here! Love you !!!!!! 💖💖💖
I hope you are feeling better. I will keep you in my prayers. May God watch over you. Thank you for your kind words and for watching my channel. God Bless!
Nakomis (Grandmother), so good to see a new video and making such a delicious meal. Frittatas remind me of my Mom and the years when we were stationed in Madrid. She would use the fresh vegetables from the garden, but my favorite one was with sausage like your Dad. In one part of your video, I was like, sing Grandmother, sing! And you did! This one brought tears to my eyes. I can’t help but remember all of the strong women before me who have now passed. God Bless them and all of what they have taught me in and outside the kitchen. Thank you so much (chii miigwetch) Grandmother for the smile you’ve given me on this beautiful day. Be well and stay smiling, (all of you 😊) Ma’iingankwe
So precious is your voice. I never knew my grandma. So precious it is to obeserve your ways! May God's abundance rich in Blessings shower upon you! Thank you!
Cara Gina, i am listening you singing, and my eyes are full of tears, this song is my mama song, she leaved us one year ago...I cry but I am so happy to hear that song again, grazie cara Gina, Dio ti protega
Beautiful song and video! I have made this since I was a little girl, my Aunt Emma from Brooklyn used to make it for us when we visited and I would watch her and then started making it for my mom and I. You can put anything in it, usually I would make it after we had left over sausage and peppers with onions and it was fantastic! God Bless you Gina for sharing such a great and simple dish with the world!
The best way to start a week-a video from Nonna Gina!! And each one is the best one yet! Please make as many a week as you can. All your fans are more than happy to watch you as often as possible! I wonder if you would consider teaching us how to make some special cookies, like pignoli cookies, or cucidata ? I am sure you will have easy tips on how to make them, which will give us the incentive to try them! 😘💐
Buon Domenica Gina! The frittata looks delicious! The most entertaining part of your show is your beautiful voice! You bring tears to my eyes because you remind me of my family who has passed on. God bless you!🙋🏻😘
You make me so happy when I watch you! I love cooking for my loved ones and you can just feel all the love you have for your family by watching you cook! I shed a tear for my beloved Grandma Francis whom I lost 18 yrs ago every time I watch your videos. But she live through me for what she taught me. Thank you Lady Gina!
Gina, you remind me of my own grandmother who passed away exactly 12 years ago at the age of 80. She too used to sing while cooking and doing little chores around the house. I had almost forgotten that. You just brought back so many beautiful memories. She lived thousands of miles away from you in India but your generation had similar traits all over the world. Lots of hard work and no money. Food was the only luxury they could afford and that's how they expressed their love. I pray for your health and wellbeing. God bless you!!
Dear Gina. Every single one of your videos makes me so happy. I love your recipes and love you! And I hope you sing in every video. You are a wonderful person. God bless you and thank you so much for sharing with all of us. You are a gift 💝
Hi Grandma Gina, I just happened to find you on RUclips and now I love to watch you while you sing and cook all of your delicious meals. I learned to cook many of the same recipes from my Italian Mother-in-Law. I will definitely continue to watch you and try to pick up some of your cooking tips. You truly are a blessing to your family and to those of us who have the honor of being in your kitchen with you while you prepare these delicious meals. Thank you Gina. :-)
another outstanding video I'm going to be making this later today. I find myself answering her when she's like okay I'm like okay I just adore her she is the greatest grandma ever. Thank you so much for sharing her with us it brings much joy and happiness into our lives. Also if she can make tomatoe soup that would be amazing
I just discovered your channel and I just LOVE your recipes and the songs you sing are Amazing. I do Love your accent and especially the food you prepare. I Pray many Blessings for you and your family. Thank You for sharing your culture.
That’s just how my nonna taught me to make frittata, sometimes she used zucchini, or potatoes and onions, and flipping it just like you do, no finishing in the oven, flip like old school! And she would always sing when cooking, 97 years old now she doesn’t remember the words but she smiles when she hears her favorite songs .
Somebody cloned my mother!!!! The tone of voice, the accent, her breaking into song, and many more similarities . I suspect God made Italian mothers and nonnas out of the same mold.
Ho conosciuto mio marito Salernitano a Vietri. Mi manca quella costiera ma mi dispiace che ora c'è quel porto così grande! L'hai conosciuto quando no entravano le grande navi? Era molto più bello e calmo!! Tanti Saluti dalla California.
Hi Gina. I make frittata also. Flipping it is the hardest part. I learned something from you. I never move the mixture in the middle of the eggs. Thanks for giving me some new information. I saw one of your earliest shows recently. Your hair then reminded me more of how my mother-in-law looked. Thank you for all your wonderful recipes. God bless you Gina.
Thank-you Gina, I'm now sharing your videos and recipes with my sons who are in their 30s. They will be great cooks if they follow your cooking and will be useful when they have their own families. Stay safe and well.xxxxx
I've learned so much from watching all of Gina's videos. Especially, I learned to enjoy the process of cooking rather than rushing through the process. It's made a big difference! I see Gina taking her time to do each step in her preparation with care, neatness and enjoyment. I decided to embrace her joy in cooking. I appreciate her immensely.
it always makes my heart smile when I see her hands at work, and listen to her stories as a little girl. It brings back fond memories of my mother in the kitchen. Thanks for sharing.
I just Love You, you remind me of my Grandma when I was young she would make me a frittata with dandelion greens and fresh fruit with chunks of fresh cheese with her homemade Italian bread still warm for lunch. I love to watch you cook and listen to your stories about when you were at home in Italy and I enjoy it when you sing. My family comes from Tuscany and you bring back all the memories of my blessed Grandma - THANK YOU and God Bless you and your family
Thank you for your wonderful way of sharing with us your knowledge. You remind me so much of my mother. You remind me so much of my sicilian grandmother and it is so amazing that I understand everything you say. My grandma spoke a little bit of sicilian mixed with English. Oh, Ginas family must be so happy to have these memories. I would give anything to hear my grandpa singing and playing his violin again.
Italian Grandma: "You can use zucchina, mushrooma, asparagusa...." Why do her ingredients sound so much better than mine, lol? ☺🙋♀️
