I made the mushrooms but I placed the vase opening at the bottom. I then put a solar light inside. My mushrooms light up at night. I placed these in my yard for decor. So cute

I was thinking along the same lines, but thinking of a battery candle.
The solar light stake goes into ground inside the vase/base. The bowl goes on top of the bottom of the vase. You can decorate anyway you choose.

I like the clear mushroom idea. I would put a fairy light in the bottom vase (not glueing the bowl down) in order to change out the lights. You have great home decor ideas! ❤
I made the clear mushroom with the opening in the bottom and have it in the yard right by my front door. It looks great!

I love the tray, the faux leather organizer, and the gold easel. The mushrooms -- not so much -- since mushrooms were popular when I was young along with owls, harvest gold, avocado green and everything and anything you could want in green. If you made the black tray, a tutorial for that would be fun.

Bless your heart for being transparent. Rarely do my Diy's/craft projects turn out right the first time. In my mind I know how I want things to turn out, but sometimes I bite off more than I can chew. So we learn as we go. And we take a different path. And we flop. And then sometimes; perhaps by accident, we patt ourselves on the back , and we "Hey I did it!" Liz, I liked all your projects, but my favorite were the 3 mauve-colored vases. Pretty 😍 color.
Love these!! For the yarn bowl yes lay plastic wrap I make them all the time and I just use school glue and a little water! But whatever you’re using as a form wrap it with plastic wrap first and it comes off like a charm!

Hi Liz!I love all of your videos! I think I like number 2 the best, only because I have a fairy garden and I'm all about whimsical pieces and projects. I think I would put a string of fairy lights underneath the cap part of the mushroom and probably paint so you wouldn't be able to see it, other than the illumination of the lights. But that's just my preference. Thank you so much for everything you do!!

The bowl was my favorite. I totally agree for two reasons. One maybe somebody would have the solution of what you messed up and to it shows new people that do crafts that it doesn’t always come out for any of us. It’s just a process and it’s therapy.

Liz there is a product that dollar tree sells called "totally awesome". It will clean up fresh paint no problem and is environmentally safe to. I used it for cleaning my house except on glass and stainless steel, it does leave streaks. I used it for cleanup of repainting walls in the basement and washing the walls before painting, diluted. Only use full strength for stubborn stains. I've even used it in my carpet shampooer!

Wow, hard to pick just one favorite! I love #'s 1, 2, 6, & 8. I was just at the Dollar Tree today and picked up one of the easels, thinking 'what can I do with this?' Now I know! Also had one of the bottles in #8 in my hands. Thinking of making one of the mushrooms, but maybe leaving the opening on the bottom to add a battery candle. Thinking the cut glass might shine really pretty. Love, love the method of painting the green vase! Thanks for so many great ideas!

Thanks for sharing your ’failed’ project. Perhaps some paint remover or strong nail polish remover might get that paint gone. I liked your dark round tray with square beads. I really like the wreath and may go back and use that technique to do the wreath I started at Christmas. With that project I just threw my hands up, threw the fabric and yarn in a bag and walked away. Was trying to dup one of your Christmas projects.
