Bought for the 1st time...inov8 pair of running shoe in my life... the same colour. Been wearing Altra lone peak 5, Salomon, Hoka SG4 and Hoka SG5...Worn this trailfly to the test on the 12 May 2024, Margaret River Marathon, Western Australia, 42km trail. Firstly it fits my feet like a glove, enough cushioning.....personally....better than my Hokas and LP5🤭...just suits to my feets' shape....sorry. As for the terrain that I ran on, do visit the youtube videos on Margaret River Ultramarathon.....very happy with Inov8 trail fly..my rating 9.5/10

How was the grip on wet rock? My GMax 300s and X Talon Ultras are pretty dire. The 300s are defeated by slightly moist tarmac.

@@Pazuzel No reply but I did buy some trailflys anyway. I love the midsole, it’s really bouncy whilst still maintaining that close to the ground, planted feel). The wide fit is slightly wider in the toe box than my X-talon ultras. They still come up short so going up at least a half size is still necessary. (I got the same size as my XTUs, which is fine). Not massively tested out on wet rock yet but initial inkling is that they aren’t much better than the previous outsoles in that regard. Once I get some proper wet slabs to run on I’ll update here.

@@JS-JackSparra21 ty vm for answer. so i suppose that wide version is wider only at toe box section ?

@@Pazuzel yes by about half a centimetre in the forefoot. Same length, same heel dimensions when comparing the insoles.

I wish they would bring back neutral colours like all black etc rather than then funky colours they’ve been doing
