We’ve been taking a good look at the INOV8 Trailfly ultra G300 Max’s.
Supposedly the bigger and better version of the AWARD WINNING “Trailfly G270”! Can they live up to the reputation..?
Listed as INOV8’s ultimate Road to Trail Ultra distance running shoe. We took this shoe across every kind of terrain the Lake District has to offer.

I started trail running September 2023 after 10yrs and 50lbs gained. I was 170lb(lean/fit) then and was 220lb(TruckerBod) in Sep. I purchased 9 of the top trail running shoes according to many many many RUclips Top 5 reviews of 2023 and online trial running groups reviews too. Most of the American named brands European and Asian. I would jog 20 mi a week in the same 5mi loop trail of 3mi incline 2mi decline....I still have 3 pairs to test but the Inov8 Trailfly Ultra G 300 have been by far the best for my weight and foot shape. Most of the other shoes got my calves tight after 1mi but i would still manage to finish my jog. I will loosen up after the 3rdmi. Some shoes gave me shin splits after 3-mi. Most shoes had similar drop and similar stack hight but the Inov8 worked best for me. I did my first 10mi jog this past Saturday and felt good. I was lucky and got a pair on sale for half off but im glad i gave them a try. Great review Bro! Just like you I'll give them a 9/10!
