Looks a lot like Joel Edgerton's movie "The Gift" (2015). Could be interesting.... could also be a copy. We'll see.
It's based on the 2001 novel Border Crossing by Pat Barker. Looks like its going a very different route from the highly metaphorical and introspective book so maybe it will end up like The Gift, but that wasn't at all what the original book was. It's a good read, I'd recommend it

I just mentioned that yesterday...I still don't get the ending.
Well it could be viewed from different prespectives but what i noticed is that people who viewed danny in a negative way didnt get along with him and had issues themselves as well. People who doubted about danny normally he would play mind games with them to 'feel' protected to make them think he isnt weak. When dr. Seymour saw rowena with danny he immediatly thought it was one of his mind games. Danny noticed that how he was reacting so thats when danny wanted to 'protect' himself and proceeded to mess with him. But at the end what i think why he drove into the river was to protect himself like julie stiles said. He doesnt like the feeling but we are all killers. Seymour maybe wanted to shut danny up to prevent his wife knowing he cheated on her.
I hate this movie because Tom has an affair with another woman?? While his wife looks prettier 😢

This movie made absolutely no damn sense, most of the actors were more creepier than the actually kid who was a killer.....
i thought danny and his therapist should be together at some point, romantically speaking. besides, the separation between good and bad and these extremes weren't nice in the movie.
They make u feel like something bout to happen somethings going but pppfff nothing. Its like a high u never catch this movie was garbage

I have not seen "Twisted". But there is no way it can be anything like "The Drowning". Because "The Drowning" is just too stupid to believe "Twisted" could be as bad, or worse.
First off, everyone is always mad, or hostile, towards Josh's character. For no reason. I hated them. And they always speak in incomplete thoughts. Especially about the backstory. Which is very, very, very, important. Which the movie refuses to tell us about! Even though it doesn't seem complicated, you want to know more about it. In the hopes of understanding why everyone acts like it's all Josh's fault, while they angrily repeat, it's not his fault. What's more, they're always telling him what to do. So when he listens to them, they get even angrier. Which made me hate them even more. The only ones I liked are Josh's, and Stiles characters. Even though they could have been a happier couple, and should not have made some of the mistakes they made. The rest of them, forget. Along with the stupid story. The only thing I liked about it is, the ending. Even though it makes even less sense than the rest of it. At least it was over.

Very boring and very slow! At first, because of the actors, the movie seems quite promising. But as it evolves, it is a real deception. Nothing really happens!

This movie was horrible. I was into it in the beginning but lost interest and couldn't wait for it to finish. What kind of ending was that? The only thing that I can get from it was that tom was insecure and Danny knew it so he played with his head. that's why tom turned the car into the lake and killed him.
He find out danny was not innocent at all and had just played everyone just like the father warned everyone about.
I think Tom decided to kill him because Danny knew a lot about his wife and a baby(boy) and he suspected Danny might be the father of the child they are expecting..

First Danny is not the father, it was 14 months later. Tom decided to crash the car into the lake because he realized Danny was really sick in the head, and not so innocent at all. Danny keeps on stalking Tom and his wife, and will make their lives miserable so Tom decided to end it by killing him.

Danny was a super pscyopath, like the joker.
The lady thearpiest where having a relationship with danny he foold her and his wife the baby was probally danny and danny new girlfriend was the one he was cheating on.
The father kept telling the theorpy u are soft like everyone else but danny cant fool me anymore.
Danny even said this ”human only use 10% of their brain” and the rest of the brain where just animal.
