@@lightningleaf23 it's not just India, he smashed centuries all over the world. And indian pitches aren't flat. They favour spinners (most of the time) in tests. It's not our fault that many of our opponents can't match our quality of spin bowling.
If it was that easy to score 500 in India, most of the tests played here would have been drawn, but that doesn't happen. On the contrary, many matches end in just 3 days.

I played youth cricket with him. I'm a better player, but he was playing six years above his age! Arch was 9, we were 15 and I recall our captain absolutely digging him out for bowling a short one, proper telling him off in front of the dressing room. Had him in tears! Good lesson for a lad, toughened him up a treat.

Good to see him doing well but let’s be honest. All his deliveries were half trackers. Any other day he could’ve gone for 60 runs off 4 overs
He has loads of potential and would be great to see him progress in the future, but I agree. The second 2 of these wickets were piss poor shots that should have been put away to the boundary.
That's what I thought as well. He was bowling it quick into the pitch so it worked on this occasion but it wasn't classic legspin or anything.
did you not hear the commentary? The deliveries he floated up were being hit for 6, clearly the way to bowl on that pitch was to bowl it quicker and into the surface (which he did and it worked). He adapted well and it’s good bowling
