Thanks Chris! One thing I've learned over the years is that the more different the musical personas, the easier it is to make music. My first band was comprised of a lead vocalist/guitarist who was big into Pink Floyd. My rhythm guitarist was into ska and punk. My bassist was into Blink 182 and commercial rock. And I was a thrash metal drummer. We had NO problem creating some amazing and eclectic originals. I think if IceFerno and I were too similar, it wouldn't hit as hard. Happy New Year to you too!
@maestrodraven @iceferno I love you guys you tap into the heart n soul of what made the 80s/90s VG tunes special im 46 and all you guys tunes based on the Genesis/megadrive sound chip is amazing. You not only expanded on but created your own material and trandscended into a lifeforce on your own merits both of you. The megadrive lives on Makes me wana cry tears of joy ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks very much. And no, the anims were just something fun I created. The idea was to imagine the way they'd psyche themselves up before the big fight took place. I just fiddled with creating some pixel art backgrounds to give it a bit more scope, since the song will be featured in the menu/options section of SOR-X.

Thanks! Ice deserves the credit for coming up with the overall melody. From there, I crafted the beat, and we went back and forth with the filler instruments to create a sort of synergy. I love how it turned out.
hey with the talent you have or your team, why don't you send it to the composer "Yuzo Koshiro", the creator of the songs from street of rage 1 to 4, imagine what it would be like if he sees his songs in remix I believe he sees about your talent, and he wants you to participate in the new street game. worth trying. 🤗👍
Hey there, yes I've already been in contact with Yuzo. We might be doing a podcast together when he's able to free up some time in his schedule. He already has a contract with the team behind the new SOR game though, so I doubt I would be involved in that.
