Yes and no, the drums are going to hit at the place where you record or pencil in the MIDI notes, to adjust the speed or tempo you will have to create a tempo track and change the speed of the entire project where you want. See this video for how to do that ....ruclips.net/video/BpSAeLNFcGI/видео.html
Hi there, I believe only Halion Sonic Se and Groove agent are the only VSTs included in Cubase LE, check the Steinberg site to make sure you have downloaded and installed all available products for your version.
Very good tutorial... I have a problem though... I noticed you have all the notes on your keyboard, I am unable to change from the C note on the piano, I cannot add any other notes - C is default . I tried changing if from the scale assistant but there isn't a "select all" option and even if I change it to an individual note, nothing happen and C is remains there. Please advise. Thanks!
I believe this has to do with the "Key Editor Piano Display" in Preferences or on the Key Editor Toolbar ( little cog wheel in the corner of the lower panel when MIDI track is open) If it is activated, only the notes corresponding to your scale will show....you can toggle on/off to display and double check with the Scale Assistant to make sure the correct notes show . Hope this helps!
Hi Max, I have worked through the Groove Agent Routing with Success, I'm not sure how to get the same results using Uptowns finest as that isn't in the production grooves, I have assigned each drum pad to and output and activated the outputs, I'm wondering if you have done a video using this method?
I made this video that might help... ruclips.net/video/R1WHC-SXgLg/видео.html , some kits do not have the automatic routing, you definitely will have to do it....but you can at least save it for later after you have routed and adjusted the settings. Thanks for watching!
Any idea on how to make the program audible? I can't seem to be able to listen to any of the sounds in the program, even though I do have sound in the rest of Cubase (I am using 10.5 mind you, but doubt that's the problem). Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
Check the outputs on Groove Agent and also each pad's individual mixer track on Groove Agent itself. Check any muted tracks, and also your audio input/outputs on your studio tab above.
You can always expand the piano roll pane by clicking the arrow on top right of the pane and use the zoom button in the lower right hand to make the keys larger. it is helpful to have a second separate computer monitor if possible. Also, you can click on the small keyboard icon on Groove Agent itself and a piano/keyboard window will pop up underneath, but left to right; not vertical. Hope this helps!
M8 that was was clear, precise and extremely efficient. Yer wee tune got me freestylin too. Lovely jubbly i shall subscribe. ( •͈ᴗ⁃͈)ᓂ- - -♡✌(̿▀̿ ̿Ĺ̯̿̿▀̿ ̿)✌❤
Not sure what you mean, but I simply use the default settings but set the scale assistant as needed. For the drum editor open that up under MIDI editing
Many thanks, that was clear and concise with no long stories of this and that in between, much appreciated!
Bingo. All I needed to know in nine minutes and cool music too.
Great Video
Very very helpful!
Thanks for watching!
Amazing, thank you.

Nicely explained mate

Hello. How to make kick, snare and hi-hat on separate tracks in cubase. Can this be done on one Groove Agent instance?
can you adjust the speed after you programmed it? can you make it slower or faster? thanks..😊

Hello. Is Groove Agent SE not part of Cubase LE 11? Just the pro version?

I do not see the point of this program? Whats the advantage vs Superior drummer 3?

good stuff! id like to know how to make piano roll vertically massive so that notes can be visually seen
You can always expand the piano roll pane by clicking the arrow on top right of the pane and use the zoom button in the lower right hand to make the keys larger. it is helpful to have a second separate computer monitor if possible. How can i configure the piano roll to like yours ?
Not sure what you mean, but I simply use the default settings but set the scale assistant as needed. For the drum editor open that up under MIDI editing
