  • “I think I was the fourth or fifth minister to resign in that sequence. I would have been the third if the printers have been working properly in the library.”
Outgoing Conservative MP Robin Walker recalls the “surreal” queue that formed at the Commons library printers as ministers lined up to quit Boris Johnson’s government in light of Partygate.

It's amazing how the prospect of losing your seat at the next election can have you suddenly focusing on the importance of your family!

Another Tory running away after making a complete mess of Brexit. What a muppet

Seems like a nice chap but he appears to be in total denial. Wanted a referendum, then campaigned to Remain, now arguing that Brexit has been a success. A very confused individual.....getting out before he is booted out. A little more honesty would be nice. Hoping to be made a Lord I expect, so being nice to everyone.

'Came together'! Pure self-interest in reality. Still overlooking the measurable and negative impacts of Brexit.

Isn't it convenient for this guy to come out with this just as his party are about to be humbled at the GE and really just draws even more focus on what an absolutely rancid political party they and their members are.

They should pull the video, fix it, and re-upload. At the moment it is barely watchable, which is a shame because the Exit Interviews are some of the best things on Times Radio.

Boris Johnson can be summed up in one act.. His backing of Liz, “The human hand-grenade” (His words), Truss, simply because he didn’t want to be recorded as the worst PM in British history..

It's amusing how Tory mps would line up over a democratically elected prime minister to get him out, but suddenly will do nothing to an unelected prime minister, other than 'step down' once they've collected the final payments of their useless term in power. Why anyone would vote Tory or Labour at the next election is beyond me. Together these two parties have made the UK reliant on foreign countries. A lesson we should've learned from during WW2. Foreigners in all are infostructure. We should should be self sufficient in food, energy, manufacturing, and stop this dangerous path we're on. We have managed democracy in Britain, your freedom is being free from the burden of choice. Stop voting for these two parties.

Murdoch, prior to the 1997 election, threw his lot in with Labour as he could see the writing on the wall. These interviews remind me that Murodch is again mulling a return to supporting Labour. How long before we see that change in editorial policy by TR and his papers. Not long methinks. Murdoch is the perennial flip flop king.

Cameron & May & Sunak chose to turn Tory into Labour 25% & Lib Dems 75%. Well in that case voters wud rather have Starmer’s 50% Labour or Owen Jones & Galloways 100% Labour via Workers Party & We deserve better party.
