Most of those who worked with and for him when he was the Mayor of London but still elected him and we know what happened after he was elected as PM in 2019. Those who have worked with Starmer know of his work ethics, if nothing else we will have the country going in the right direction. We want politicians to be serving us and not themselves. We want MPs to be in touch with the people at all levels of the country and not just the 5% of the greedy at the top.

    Time will tell. Bear in mind that they actually didn't do that well in terms of vote share and look at the ground swell of reform whose seats do not reflect their popularity. Labour must deliver quickly on borders or they will be getting stick from Reform.
