Hey Joe- Real quick, just wanna thank you for your dedication & consistency to this channel, the Buffalo Bills & Bills Mafia. Last night, I went around to all 32 Locked On channels & holy shhh, do you spoil us! So many teams with 1 MAYBE 2 uploads per week, hosts having zero energy, let alone aura- just want you to know we appreciate you my boy 🫡
dam that’s tough i really like reg but would love to see davidson make the roster.. no shit he makes it back to the ps. but at the same time there’s only 1 ball and reggie is proven on teams…
I'm sure this is premature, but has seeing Leon Coleman's development during camp changed the way you evaluate receivers? I know you historically prefer separation-style players, but Coleman (so far and with no real game time yet) seems to be doing well separating vertically.
I feel like Keon Coleman is being overhyped. Maybe it's click bait. But it's wierd to hear news constantly about Keon and then Nothing about Khalil Shakir. Coleman can't separate. Shakir is elite at separating. He's going to be a big time star for Buffalo and we are hearing nothing? It's weird. I think the Coleman news is all click bait. I've never seen a successful receiver who separates vertically. I remember them saying the same thing about Nkeal Harry, who never worked out in the NFL. People are going to be disappointed by Coleman once the season starts because of the Hype that's being overblown. If you went off the Media you'd be expecting Coleman to be WR.#1 and have over 1000 yards. But the reality is the training camp hype isn't going to translate to the Game Day. Separation vertically has never worked, why would it now?
it also has to do with what you click on. if you click on Keon then other Keon stuff will start showing up in your feed. Kincaid is clearly the #1 option-like travis kelce with chiefs. Add in Curtis Samuel who may be an all over the place option. Knox is a weapon. James cook is a weapon. Ray Davis is a weapon. Gabe Davis is not a huge loss. Diggs is great but demanded attention and josh kind of focused on him. After they fired Dorsey, Joe Brady only lost 2 games. We ran more-we didn't really use diggs or Davis. Gabe Davis is no loss. Neither is Stephanie diggs. I mean Keon did not run a straight 40 however google what he did in the gauntlet. nevermind I did it for you b/c you are clearly lazy. ruclips.net/user/shortsIzpicbO_-tI wouldn't you prefer a guy that can catch and run over a sideline sprinter?????? Also, he's really humble unlike Stephanie, oops I mean Steph. No, they don't blow him up as #1 wr b/c the whole bills Joe Brady philosophy is that they have not true number 1. Which is smart. They have 5-7 versatile guys. Do you really need a #1 when you can have 5 #2's. 2 tight ends that can make plays. 3 Rb's that can make plays. Shakir, Keon, Curtis and then the others. Watch is gauntlet drill. Want to know what's cool?? You don't have to follow him or make any decisions. There is a reason Brandon Beane is the Gm and you are a keyboard NFL Manager. Why not look for Keon to be great instead of look for him to be a bust? Follow the chiefs- you seem a Xavier worthy typaNUThugger.
You're proclaiming all of this with little to no evidence to back it up. He was one of maybe 4 WRs in the draft with the toolset to develop into an alpha X. His closest athletic comp is someone like Mike Evans. Who gives a shit what his 40 time was after he ran a 22 mph gauntlet drill? All of this has been widely reported that he's getting a full plate in terms of the playbook and load they're putting on him. He's checking every box along the way until games are played. He's going to be good and has the potential to be great. Chill out on the chicken little routine.
As un likely as it may be, I would really enjoy seeing frank gore Jr to break out. I mean I want all the bills players to be successful but that would be a feel good story
I wonder what happened with Leslie Frazier? Do you think he actually stepped away, or was he asked to? You would expect him to come back to Buffalo, before he went to Seattle. Makes me think it wasn’t his decision.
He blew the Chiefs 13 second game & what's crazy is he repeated the exact same defensive call twice in a row which was insane cause it was exactly what the chiefs needed called & unheard of to even do once in the situation yet he went and repeated it giving them the game to go into OT.
Who should they have taken in place of any of the draft picks they took? They had long and short term needs all over the roster and basically checked every box with a quality value with upside. Rather have Bishop and Carter over Troy Franklin or Javon Baker.
Personality. Captain is not a outgoing player. Whatever leadership is from his play on the field, which is great, but all the newbies need hands on leadership.
Hey Joe - I don't have twitter so I'm going to ask you a non-football question here Have you been watching the Olympics? Any highlights for you? Are there any sports you feel like should be more popular than they currently are in American Sports Media?
I have not watched any of the olympics. I'd love to see a lot of the sports - track, swimming and gymnastics in particular - become more main stream and regular but the market is the market. I am very football focused when it comes to the sports I consume
Know why the Chiefs makes super bowls and the bills don’t ? It’s because the chiefs defensive Line shows up in the playoffs. Doesn’t mean you quit trying.
@whatareuthinking1 So does Mahomes Kelce & Reid.. This team will never win a Bowl with McDermott or this mid WR core.. Allen's, what 7th, 8th year? & not 1 first rd pick at WR or OL, Diggs clearly wasn't enough & they settled but pick after pick for that bum 🗑 DL.. had enough
@@jcZo23 KC's revamping of their defense via the draft has very much single handedly won them back to back championships. Not factual at all. Buffalo's defense has been decimated by untimely and high impact/key injuries both of the last two years. If they had the same defensive lineup that they went into week 18 with last year, they'd have beaten KC in the divisional by a couple scores. If you put the same injury juju on the Chiefs in that game that Buffalo had going into it, they also beat them soundly. They win because of their defense and OL being stellar. Focusing on one side of the ball predominately is just garbage team building.

Well put and 10000% agreed
Right, every other team is "locked on, your team every 3 to 4 days"
Yes! And the quality of Joes production, far exceeds the majority of Locked On.
We’re blessed to have Joe 🙏💯Go Bills

Keni Lovely is my udfa long shot to sneak on the back of the roster. He can play inside and outside cb and might be able to return kicks

Stiff and fluffy haha! Great podcast as always 🍻
When do they usually announce the captains?
can i just say i know you weren’t being literal but i could absolutely see babich hiding in a bush with a headset and a play sheet
Nice session

Von Miller has been a captain each season for the Bills and every year for the last decade. I’m not sure how that’s even a debate.
Elway didn't win his first SB until he was 37.

Imagine if Beane drafted 3 WRs, like the majority of the fanbase and pundits wanted… can we learn from this, next draft season?
We'd be better off.. more weapons less bum Dlineman

If Von were to retire during the season, his cap hit is totally gone right?
Why wouldn’t we name Milano a captain but we like Bernard?
Milano’s sort of a silent assassin - Bernard has been forced into a more vocal role, and has done extremely well with it
