Glad I saw this. I bought the Dewalt right angle driver. At one point, I needed to get into a really tight spot. I had to just use the bit itself. This driver does NOT allow the top of the bit to stick out enough to get a good hold on the screw. I purchased the Milwaukee right angle driver and it allows the entire head of the bit to stick out when you only can use it without the bit holder inserted into the driver.
While I do enjoy learning about tools and such, it seems your channel has become a tool hawker verses a woodworking channel. I'd like to see more builds and projects.
Personal Experience: I had this sander for years, used it occasionally for woodworking proyects until I started a wall texture business where it was my primary sander for many many projects sanding microcement walls for HOURS. It’s unbelievable reliable. After a while I upgraded to the bosch 6” sander “rotex” and the little B&D is still in the shop working flawlessly.
Love the tools that you showed you also was great showing how they are used .I'm a beginner and would love to be able to test the tools that you showed .they look so simple to use and will be getting the bits and trying the clamps and the jigs and the router end round jigs thanks. Learned alot😊
I have just brought the evolution R210+ sliding mitre saw, the set up of the blade was on target!! 89.97 degrees right angle, l have been impressed, fitted together very easily, with extras' saw stops, clamp's bought off Amazon, the blade only tilts on one side, that's the only downside, the mitre saw turns left and right, l will be changing the blade for a wood blade 60 tooth + but l will keep the multi-blade that came with it, l do not saw metal, masonary or plastic but it might at some point come in handy. It is a Bargain choice £156, a good DIY tool [semi-pro] without breaking the bank.
I made my own thin rip jig and it's great to have. I had a little wheel bearing left over from a different project, and I borrowed one of the miter track lock-down thingies from the feather board I'd made, since I won't be using both at the same time. It filled an immediate need without waiting for Amazon or spending a dime, but the store-bought one could be worth your dime and time -- this jig can be really useful.
May I argue a minor point? The Carter band saw doodads look really useful for setting the fence distance, but isn't the tooth clearance groove only for use when checking the fence for parallel?
Have you found a straight edge ruler in the 36" - 51" range that is flat and affordable? Amazon reviews tend to high light significant gaps between the straight edge and flat surfaces.
I got the Incra V27 last year and man, what a difference. I added a Powertec extruded aluminum fence that has T-track all over it and a scale across the top. I rarely use my cross-cut sled anymore. I have the Woodpeckers Delve square and the little square and while, yeah, I spent more than those DFM squares go for, I too use both of them all the time. To anyone who doesn't have either of these squares, get them. Woodpeckers, DFM, whatever, you will find them to be one of the handiest tools in your shop.
Where do I find these "tubafors" you're always talking about? I got a set with the DFM Triangle and Square as a factory second recently. I'm not sure what's wrong with them since they look just like the regular ones and are square, but you might keep an eye out. I use the Grr-ripper push blocks, but I also like the drop foot style on the Milescraft GrabberPLUS. I think it's good to have a wide variety of push blocks and sticks. As for the magnetic trays - I recommend circular ones instead of rectangular. With the rectangular the magnet does not fill up all the space of the tray and if you use them hanging off of a wall you are likely to drop screws more often.
I actually have some of those the kreg set up bars, the right angle bit, and one other piece you were right about the thin rip guide lol I Wen to buy and it was unavailable but there are other options
I’d like to try those Whiteside router bits. I’ve only used Bosch and Skil bits. I’ve never had too much of an issue, but I do see some burning every once in a while. I’d like to see what difference those type of bits actually make
You can stop a lot of the burning with the right speed settings too on the router. Or the feed rate (or both) that you push the router through the cut.
You definitely can't go wrong with the Whiteside bits.. my bit collection is 95% Whiteside, I have a couple cheaper brands, but the Whiteside are amazing quality.

Hot garbage😂😂That's absolutely true. Tossed mine and bought a QUALITY Jessem miter gauge. Yes Sawstop would be better off just not shipping that POC OR hook up with Jessem and supply a quality miter gauge along with a quality saw. IMHO
I alway measure to the blade tooth not the smooth part. Using the tool with the groove in it on the bandsaw is going to make your workpiece undersized.
@@731Woodworks All of the DeWalt Impact-rated bits I have look exactly like that, but none of my Makita, Bauer, or Milwaukees do. The DeWalts aren't shaped to fully seat or engage with the majority of phillips heads. Oddly enough, DeWalt's regular bits are actually much better.

you need to throw out that #2 phillips bit at the end. that is the source of your frustration trying to drive screws.
😂 I ran into needing a 90 degree attachment 5 times the past week. You ain't kidding about the frustration. 😂
That square got slightly short on the piece of wood at the end.
These tools are nice, but i am from europe so i dont understand the mesurements. I would need it in cm or mm😢
We have them in mm on Amazon or our website
DFM has them in metric
@@dfmtoolworks thanks
Saw that Monticello AR sign. That's our old hunting grounds. You from AR? Conway LR area here
I believe he said so in one video.
yep, live in Monticello.
Nice. Work in a custom millwork place out of LR. Love your tips, man. Use a lot of them around the shop
What’s a tubberfoer?
You must be new here. Welcome. It's tubafour.
Hot garbage😂😂That's absolutely true. Tossed mine and bought a QUALITY Jessem miter gauge. Yes Sawstop would be better off just not shipping that POC OR hook up with Jessem and supply a quality miter gauge along with a quality saw. IMHO
I like Jessem tools! They make great stuff!
01/25/2024- $513.70 for all 10 of these. Just posting for posterity
I alway measure to the blade tooth not the smooth part. Using the tool with the groove in it on the bandsaw is going to make your workpiece undersized.
6:27 nice driver bit
that's what happens when you use em
@@731Woodworks All of the DeWalt Impact-rated bits I have look exactly like that, but none of my Makita, Bauer, or Milwaukees do. The DeWalts aren't shaped to fully seat or engage with the majority of phillips heads. Oddly enough, DeWalt's regular bits are actually much better.
@@sweetsweetpapa I have Milwaukee bits as well and they do seem to hold up better. This Dewalt bit is a couple years old. I should probably trash it lol

Great video of good tools to have. Please be aware of when making videos of how to use tool like your centering square. Your hand is blocking the view of what you are doing. I am a big fan of your videos though. They are always well done.
noted Gary. Thanks for the feedback!
You don’t pronounce the s in illinois my friend. Good way to make enemies with a lot of bears fans….
I heard it
🤷🏻♂️
Geez!! People are way too sensitive these days. Enemies really?
Bears fans are tough. They have to be 😁. They'll get over it!
@@bgode9013 its a joke guy. Lighten up
I need to stop watching your videos, my Amazon cart is getting out of hand 🤦🏾♂️
I’ll tell ya, anytime I’ve watched one of your videos and clicked a link to buy, it’s USUALLY already sold out! Amazon should be paying you a stipend for driving serious sales… and yes, my bank account just rolled its eyes and sighed….
why do you make thumbnails to your videos similar to mr beast? the o face is kinda played out dont you think?
I went to your channel to see how I was supposed to do it. Didn't find any videos there.
@@731Woodworks Do you have any recommendations for a good burn cream?
Dude! You have to stop this. Do you know how much money I spend every time I watch one of your videos! 😅😅
🤣
All my friends say #tubafir now. It's great!
