I watched this movie when it was released. I did not grasp the meaning of it then... Truly this is a beautiful movie. Love is beyond physical relationship. It is acceptance of a person as he or she is. KB's every movie and every series has a strong woman as the core of the story. Every character- may that be Chellamma or Kokila or Karpagam or Kalki - display magnanimity, acceptance of fate or reality of life in a very beautiful way. High time the world stepped out of patriarchal ways of life!!
A beautiful gesture of empathy by Kalki at the risk of her life. The end was expected. Both the wives have had the same autocratic treatment by Prithviraj,an excellent actor. Reminds one of substitute mother film in Hindi.

I didn't have baby for 4 years, after my second IUI i got pregnant and now I have a daughter.. during treatment, don't track the days and don't keep on expecting the result.... I've been reading through some comments here. The comments section is primarily dominated by women, barely any men who appreciate the sentiments conveyed through the movie. This is quite representative of the attitude in society today. Most men just comment on Prakash Raj's acting or the songs or KB's work.
