You didn’t even talk about how the electric fence goes inward instead of out to keep people in. I was a Frontier Flight attendant and this airport always gave me the chills.
Fun fact, we locals call the horse "Blucifer". Very creepy as a kid, still creepy as an adult.

I have noticed a lot of what people used to talk about as far as art goes has been removed from the airport. Years ago when I went there it was all there and it was fairly creepy. To touch on the Freemason thing as well. They're huge in Denver and have temples all over and even have a license plate you can get with their symbol on it similar to sports teams, military etc. Most towns or cities in America have Freemason temples around if you just look for them. Also in the tunnels when traveling from place to place it kinda looks like they go deeper than we are told but idk.
The tunnels are down a bit but it's nothing insane. You know how far down from ground level you go on the escalators to the stations. There is a slight drop of like 15 feet to B. That's it. The baggage system runs above the trains. The vehicle tunnels are next to the train tunnels and serve as emergency exits for train breakdowns or emergencies. They can load people on vehicles rather than have them walk to long distances.
My Dad is a United Captain for the Boeing 737 (smol plane) and is based out of the Denver airport.
He finds it to be a very creepy airport, I've been to the pilot quarters on the 2nd level below. It's weird lol.

Haha as a Denver resident I can confirm our airport is extremely mysterious 😂
Love hate with Denver. Sucks to drive to from WY/N. CO. Recently security line will warp around and through the baggage claim which is ~45 minutes, and it took me 20 minutes to be able to even get on a train to go from terminal B to C because of train overcrowding and delays. Otherwise, it's big and open. Good food options and seating. They have a bathroom built in terminal C where the sinks are facing the tarmac. Very cool. It would be cool if they built those big bridges connecting each terminal that would allow people to physically walk between the terminals opposed to be at the whim of the over crowded trains. They have been investigating the feasibility of add those bridges for over a decade apparently.

The one time I was in the Denver airport for a layover i had some dude compliment my shirt while in line for food. He proceeded to try and open the back pocket of my backpack when I was going down an escalator after eating...

I had a long layover in Denver a few months ago. But it was in the daytime so I had a cab driver take me around and we stopped as close to Blucifer as possible so I can get some really good photographs. And then she dropped me off by a baggage claim so I could photograph the gargoyles. Then I walked all the way to the other end and was able to find the dedication plaque and photograph that as well.
I grew up going to the DA to visit family and found out about all the conspiratorial and "creepy" accusations much later in life and was so shocked -- it really feels like such a mundane, typical airport with absolutely nothing special about it. Also as a kid I was a horse girl and actually loved seeing the demonic blue horse statue
I do have to say that the new Concourse C areas are SUPER NICE. You pass gate C46 and then get your mind blown at how open the area is! My best advice for some cool mountain views is to use the A-bridge. At night, the taxiway lighting looks AWESOME!

I thought that the artist of the horse made the glowing red eyes asa tribute to his father who worked with neon lights back in the day. Sadly the glass shattered and cut an artery in his leg and he died

as a lifelong denverite, i love how enthralled people are with our airport lol. terminal B is the best one! terminal A sucks, there's nothing good to eat there except the mesa verde grill which has terrible hours. i always end up getting something mediocre at freshens and being mad about it lol

There was no sleeping for me when I was stuck overnight at the Denver airport! I wasn't going to sleep with my luggage and purse unguarded, and strangers around me. I walked around and rode the subway all night to stay awake. Working night shifts for years also helped me stay awake.

The biggest flaw with Denver Airport is that they don’t have a Taco Bell
I was traveling from California to Florida and during a layover in Denver airport I fell asleep in one of the bathrooms, waiting for my flight the next day. I was apprehended by police and was taken downtown and forced to stay in a drunk tank for 24 hours…because they smelled alcohol on my breath. It was a terrifying ordeal!

I had a 6 hour delay at this airport as a child. We slept on the floor, I had altitude sickness, and the trains kept yelling 'yeehaw' at us. Would love to go back tho

Concourse B has an upper floor that has a bunch of cots with blankets and pillows for all you weary travelers.

There was a man who found his friend and a capsule underground in Denver airport this is a true story he even called 911 and you could hear him panicking and freaking out they made him go on a radio show saying that he was just not in the right state of mind that night but that's not true if you listen to that recording I heard you can tell he was really terrified he said he looked through the window and our government ain't who we think they are it was in the underground basement where he was looking for his friend Annie seen a door with a small window when he looked in that's when he seen or government but they must have looked reptilian because he talks about the big gigantic doors for the bathroom he was on the RUclips channel in 2017 I don't know where he's at now I'm trying to find him

Sleeping in airport is notoriously difficult but this airport actually has a sleeping spot with spiral organic shaped couches, and I did have to sleep next to a bunch of strangers and I slept on top of my stuff because I have experience with homelessness
