"As human beings, we all think we know everything about everything." If I had a dime for every RUclips comment thread I saw that exemplified this, I would never have to work another day in my life. Really loving this podcast, Julie. fantastic work :)
Love me some Pat Sherwood! As a soon to be 50-year-old in a sea of 20-somethings "36" enthusiasts, I find myself as the voice of "moderation". I love Pat's wit and candor. Keep these episodes coming. I am a huge fan!
And a year and a couple of months later you graduate Med School, compete at regional in team competition....I owe you so much and I learned so much going through a very difficult time period in my life...God Bless Julie!
I really enjoy hearing the history of Crossfit. 2005? Gosh, I'm interested in learning more on the origins. I've just joined Crossfit Alaska and can't wait to start!
Crossfit and the Military have quite the history together. Many servicemen and women in those early days and tremendous support from the Community. Awesome that hasn't changed.
"Scalability component." I think this is something we as coaches need to make people understand. That "scaling" isn't a bad thing and can lead to growth! Not everybody in the box needs to go "RX"... It's an ego thing for sure, but the cool thing about CrossFit is we're all trying to get better every day.
Pat is such a genuine great guy..

I'd like to see you have a conversation with Coach Glassman or Noah Ohlsen
