@ I have a first interview for a technician support engineer coming to this week, any videos to help with the interview process. I don’t have formal experience or a IT degree, but I have knowledge since HS with IT. Maybe the imposter syndrome but I’m nervous I really want to land this!!
Thanks in part to your channel, I've now been in I.T. Site Support for 2 years. But the AI hammer will soon swing on " Help Desk" positions that help people remotely. Companies are using the resolution notes from tickets to train their AI agents. Help desk will go first. Site Support hopefully will weather the storm.
whats a good program or platform to learn and get a better understanding of network fundamentals? I need it to stick in my head lol. thank you in advance and thank you for this video!
I’ve been looking into it recently and from my research the top 2 cheapest options are professor messer comptia A+ study videos or the google it certificate which has 7 day free trial then it’s 50$ a month after that
Hey Kev, I have been watching you from the UK. It has been nearly 2 years and I still can't even land an interview and I am becoming very disappointed. I have 3 hrs left to watch on your udemy course and hopefully 2025 will be a bit better. Have done what you advise and yesterday went to my first "meetup" with other people on tech and digital for networking. All of them agree that right now is not what you know but who you know and can give you a reference or "open the door for you from the inside". Have tried lots of times to become your contact on LinkedIn. I am Mexican btw...looking how can I join Raíces. Thanks
@@smb2962 did you look at BSides London? That's coming up next week. Good opportunity to network. Raices Cyber, you need to go to the website to register.
You're great at giving insight into what the job might involve, love these videos!
Thank you for this I’ve been trying to find a entry level IT job for months hopefully I get one 🤞
Same i feel like it’s so hard to even get a interview!
Someone got a job this week. I made a post about it on my Twitter. No degree, no certs. He did training with me.

@ ok yeah I’ve been doing that and going on yt for the things I don’t know. Thank you 🙏🏾
Thank you for a new video @Kevtech. Please, do more of this topic.
And yes love videos like this!!
I always apply directly to the company website is better then through a third party
Where do you get the list of companies? I would like to try that method too

I think it depends where you work. I know people who work in IT Support and use Ai to help them with work.
Appreciate You!
Can you make a video like this for something related to Cybersecurity? Trying to transition out of the helpdesk role
@@jonjosephsanjuan4693 I already have a video on that

Hi, could you please clarify the difference between an issue and a request, How do they differ?
@@dawndukwe9789 request is when your requesting for something. An example of this is hardware like a monitor, mouse or keyboard.
@KevtechITSupport Thanks for the insight 🙏
I'm busy with the support adventure assessment. Hopefully, I'll nail it and be part of the team. I saw one of your videos there. Finger's crossed
