- To make my Toy Story 4 Duke Caboom helmet cake, I baked 4.75lbs of my Ultimate Chocolate Cake featuring sweet Italian meringue buttercream between the layers. This cake features three topsy turvy dummy layers for an extra playful touch and is completely covered in bright colours and fun patterns that bring the characters to life. Most likely what happened was Yo made chocolate cake separately that they cut in the back for everyone to eat separately, so that the cake she decorated could stay intact and be the centerpiece. The real cake layer could then be cut for ceremony in front of everyone. I feel like I’ve seen that done before.

Lol. You'd be surprised how often this happens. I do cakes as a side hustle and 90% of the time people want a bigger design than the amount of cake they need for their event. Rather than spending all the extra money and having waaaay more cake than they need they'll opt for some dummy layers so that they don't need to scale down their design.
They pay for the looks not meant to actually be eaten lol.
I'm more shocked that people eat Playdoh because it looks pretty wrapped around styrofoam.

Raven NEVER yeah I was extremely disappointed that like 1/4 of the cake was actually cake. I would think since she got to make this cake for Disney/Pixar she would’ve went above and beyond. Maybe it was a timing issue I don’t know. Definitely not my favorite.
TDIReloaded I think it was more of they didn’t need all that cake for the event, so they just used dummy layers so that cake wouldn’t go to waste.
You have to think how heavy a real cake that size is!
