    My absolute favorite lake to fish and I have been since 1988-2023. In the early years a Great Fishery, Big Browns, Rainbows and Kokes up to 20”. The last few years has been Overfished and size has diminished each year. 2020 a consistent 15-16” and since has gone down. You gave some nice tips, good job and a nice limit of fish.

    Great Video, Isee a lot of boats on the water, was this the weekend?
    I fished Stampede in the 1980s, there was very little traffic.

    I have had nothing but struggles catching kokanee's this year on Stampede, compared to the last few years when i could barely keep up with the how many hook ups i would get.

      I would say this year is a tougher one for sure.. we get spoiled some years..

    Do you ever troll with your main motor (not for kokanee) or another stern mounted motor and if so... does it cause problems with your downriggers mounted so far forward?

    • @jigitfishing5710
      @jigitfishing5710  Год назад +1

      Yes I do troll with my main for trout and kings.. the back of my boat is basically a flat deck so mounting them up front just makes it easier.. my boats a little bass tracker so not really made for downriggers lol..

      @@jigitfishing5710 - I used to fish Puget Sound for salmon a lot and my first boat had the downriggers mounted about midship. The cables would get tangled in my prop sometimes and I always had to turn really wide or else my gear would tangle, that's why I asked. Thanks!

      Roger that.. I never had it hit my prop although I do use 8lb weights so there's not to much blow back.. Bet there some good memories fishing the Puget Sound..

      They are Cannon Marlin series.. I added the longer boom though..

    This lake gets so Overfished. Last year 13”-16”, earlier this year 13”-15” and now 12”-14”, Pretty odd, should be getting bigger.

    • @jigitfishing5710
      @jigitfishing5710  Год назад

      Yeah I agree little odd.. there are bigger ones in there just doesn't seem to be very many of them.
