Almost teared up. Thank you for the excellent message alongside your story. Great editing, too. Hope this message can be taken to heart for me and many others. 💚
Seeing this run live was one of those unforgettable experiences where in the minutia of all of the stuff you're trying to do, witnessing someone doing something impressive, grand, or with an amount of inspiration, is something truly special. The value of an achievement being completely self imposed, regardless of who you are, means anything can get that adrenaline rush, or be so chill that you don't even break a sweat, but in both of those situations the feeling of joy or confidence when attaining those heights is irreplaceable. Watching others reach those heights continually inspires me, I think every day about many of the things I see people do in this game as it makes me remember where I am and what I want to do in the game, either because it looks really cool or because doing so has a personal story behind it that shows anyone can overcome the impossible. This run, and all of the buildup I saw leading to it, is something I hold very dear to my inspiration fuel. Thank you, yujene, for always cheering on your comrades, feeding them the finely crafted sauces to defeat adversity, for having the drive to create these moments I and many others will keep close to use for years to come. Thank you for your cooking. 🧑🍳
202 has always been such a beautiful category to me, i love watching runs of people who have spent so much time optimizing and getting good at the entirety of this game. thanks for the meal truly anyone can cook
At the time of this being uploaded, I had had the game for two weeks and had just started work on the C-sides. My end goal was just 100% Steam Achievements. After finding out about modding, I shelved that goal in favor of completing the first three lobbies in Strawberry Jam. I didn’t plan to keep going. Once I beat the Advanced lobby, I figured I could go further. I’ve beaten several Expert maps, something I never anticipated. I’ve been telling myself “I can’t do Passionfruit Pantheon, it looks far too hard,” but this video makes me think that I can. I also hit 100% Steam Achievements a few days ago.
Amazing video and message. As a newbie Celeste speedrunner myself who looked up to many top runners including you,I resonate with this message deeply. Sub 30 seems to daunting for as long as I remember. It first seems impossible, then slowly with each day of practice, the milestone that once seem impossible slowly become possible and realistic. The movement and strat that I once looked at and say " there is no way I can do that" is something that slowly begin to feel manageable. Now I'm at 28 minutes and looking to 27 while beyond, looking to runner like you who manage to push the game so far. Seeing your journey through this video is nothing but inspiring, that maybe I too can reach the goal you are currently at right now one day, as long qs I don't give up and keep going . Thank you for making this video Yujene 😊
really inspiring, brought me to tears i first thought fwg would be impossible for me to get, and something that i could only dream of doing. and then i got fwg. it made me reevaluate what i can do, and made me realize that nothing is impossible if i just believe in myself
anyone can cook. Cried a bit at this, your attitude towards sub 30 as a new player and then having achieved it were definitely similar to how i felt and it resonates with me a lot. Although i'm not super invested in another serious celeste grind rn, this is a mindset i've found really motivating in other parts of my life: As someone who just started learning to play the guitar at age 24, deciding that i'm too old or not dextrous enough isn't going to do me any favours, ive just got to keep enjoying it and inching forwards
woke up, watched this, cried, played celeste, got a pb
wonderful video
Eating at the yujene restaurant was a fantastic experience, would recommend 10/10
