Pros Cave Baseball I love the breakdowns of major league swings because I study them a lot but it’s a lot easier to watch someone who knows what they’re talking about break them down
Hey Matt, Thank you for watching all the way until the end. Check out my other swing breakdowns...I think you will like them. Also, please hit the subscribe button and join the family. Thank you!
You have some of the best content out there. Keep up the great work. I have noticed one minor detail in some of your videos. It’s scap not scalp. But yes great stuff. I enjoy all your videos. Truly is a lot of gold in there
John, again thank you! Yeah... I totally messed that up. My mistake. But, thanks for catching that...and enjoying the contetn. More to come. I am stock piling content. That way, I can drop them them more consistently.
Thats awesome! Hard work will pay off. Glad I found you on RUclips. Really good stuff you are putting out. Happy to see you touched on the mental side too in one of your videos
Thank you TBK for the comment! I appreciate you. Hope you liked and subscribed to the channel. It helps me help more players. anyways, we have a new video dropping in 30 mins at 5pmEST. You will not want to miss this one.
Hey Kenia, Hows it going? I don't have any videos on catching. I will make some in the future. As for hitting, I have several videos on that topic. You could start with the 5 drills for youth baseball players?
That's a great one! Thanks Clevis! Check out my new video coming tomorrow about Mookie Betts! and subscribe to the channel please for more videos like this!
Really liked your breakdown on the A swing and B C swings what do you think even in big leagues see guys swinging from their heels against the big heat in times past players had a saying concede when pitcher had heat I heard Hank Aaron say that Ted Williams in his book talked about getting on top of guys with more juice Reggie Jackson said at 95 96 you should adjust so my father told me about his last year as a professional in California League facing STeve Dalkowski who Earl Weaver once described as having more than Nolan Ryan and Chapman ok he faced him 7 times in one game walked 4 times struck out once hit one 420 ft caught against fence last at bat long ball to win the game look at Ralph Liners swing my dad's was almost identical to his but he described those bats against Dalkowski as imagining a rattlesnake right in front of him he had heat and movement I said to my father well that was one of the easiest swings you had to make he gives me a funny look so I say think about it you shorten up to produce against that velocity a longer swing requires more practice than shorter the slower the ball moves the more the hitter has to load up golf 0 mph more lost
Hi Jermaine, my boy (12) has a hard time getting that slightly upward swing plane when we work on the tee. Will the two tee drill help with developing that slightly upward swing plane?
Yes. That can help but whst I woukd recommend is doing side toss but flipping the ball low. And when you do side toss, aim at his inner back leg which will force him to hit the right center field. Again, you want the ball low. Throw it a little higher than his ankles and little below his knees. If he cuts his swing off, he will hit a ground ball but if stays through it...he will have a slightly upward swing plane. The other reason inlike it is because it fixes lower half issues. The only way he will hit it good is if in his lower half correctly.
Great question! Not a dumb question at all. When I was younger, I was taught to put the knob of the bat to the catcher. I, then, started practicing it and ended up wrapping it around my head. This made me struggle because anything inside and I would get beat. So then My dad then bought me a full body mirror where I was able to watch myself. I put work in front of that mirror... And what I wanted was to see the barrel of my bat at the middle to top part of my head. Mookie Betts does this very well and he is the next video I'm doing which will be coming out this weekend or early next week.
Giyon! Thanks for watching...Have you gotten a chance to watch anymore of my breakdowns? Currently, cooking up some more videos as we speak so please be on the lookout for that.

The mental side is equal to, or more important, than all the other stuff.
Just curious, how did you find me?
I was just about to make the same comment. Thanks.
Great content way to break it down.
Bo bichette does the coil I like to think back pocket to pitcher it helps me coil while still being square to the pitcher
That's awesome Shane! Yeah, I learned the back pocket to pitcher when I was younger. It works! Thanks for commenting.
Pros Cave Baseball Aye man you should do I video on Anthony Rendon I would like to see you perspective on a hitter that gets his foot down early.
@@mcdouble1560 That would be a very good breakdown. good idea. Thanks Shane

Load and Ralph Kiner I thought these phones were supposed to be smart
When you speak of strength, is it more from your bottom half or top half?
Bottom half. Baseball is about core and lower half strength. BUT, bat speed helps a lot. Having quick hands
@@JermaineCurtis55 thank you
