Couple things: - Coaches tell players to not lower their heads when tackling or running through traffic because that's how most spinal injuries occur. It also means you can't see where you're going or what you're tackling! - The fastest players on the field are generally WRs and CBs, with RBs and Safeties as runners up. There are some RBs and S with 4.3 speed, but generally the speed demons are at WR and CB.
Fournette will forever be on my list of people I admire, because of the love he gave to my Gamecocks after we had the worst flooding in Columbia in 100 years.Everyone involved with LSU were amazing. Always got love for that man for that
We played rugby in the US as kids. We called it tackle loco. Watching your clips made me remember it, we don't play it organized or even on a team. We would throw the ball in the air. Whoever caught it, EVERYBODY would then "fuck up" (try to gang take) if you made it to the endzone, you scored, and then threw the ball into a group of everyone else and the same rule applied, if you got takled you threw the ball behind you and again, same rule applied. It was a simplified painful version of rugby.
Yeah another awesome thing about Leonard Fournette in college is that his number was and is still a legendary number. If you get the number 7 at LSU it means you have and are doing something incredible for the team. Patrick Peterson and Tyran Matthieu wore that number.
We love the fact that you go back and fourth in some videos from football to rugby its awesone and its your thing, a lot of channels wouldn't. Keep doing your thing brah, love from Maine, USA.
I love seeing your reactions , you’re always so into the video it makes it fun watching the video with you even though I’ve already seen him play. Keep it up
I for one love the Rugby highlights you show throughout your football reaction videos. As it goes with your theme of bridging a gap between the two sports, I’ve never played rugby but it’s a game I’ve always thought was pretty cool and you’ve taught me a lot about it so far
Just started watching your videos about 2-3 weeks ago and I love it man. It's great to see other people who haven't played the game of football and just see how they react to the game. Keep grinding and working hard for that running back spot man. Also if you want a good team to cheer for next year and years to come follow the Steelers, you will not be dissapointed. Also last thing check out Antonio Brown or Le'veon Bell both are absolute monsters for the Steelers.
I don't think so. I'm talking about the position as a whole. The slower WRs in the league brings down the overall WR speed. The CB position doesn't have the amount of slow people on the back end like the WR position does. Also speed isn't essential to being a great WR . Raw speed is almost a pre-requisite to being a NFL CB.
my man leonard fournette!! im baton rouge native, and a die hard LSU fan. I met him once at an LSU basketball game and he was massive. im about 5"8, and he is like the eiffel tower when you stand next to him.
He's made it but didnt upload it yet. Watch his video called 60,000 subscribers he shows all of what he's done and is going to do until the NFL preseason.
Loving the videos man! It's very cool to see you learning all about football and its players. I also like learning some Rugby from you, and the videos you've shown us! Also you should watch Larry Allen highlights. He's a Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman and a hall of famer.
React to Todd Gurley 2017 NFL Offensive Player of the Year highlights! He's easily one of the best running backs in football, even after tearing his ACL in college. He has some of the best moves in the NFL including the hurdle, where he literally jumps over tacklers' heads. He's also one of the best pass catching backs in the league and has run the 40 yard dash in less than 4.3 seconds at 6 foot 1 and 220 lbs. I love your videos and just subbed! 👍
Couple years ago and I would put up almost any SEC team against any other team and expect them to win. They're definitely much weaker nowadays but overall they're still probably the best conference.
Slim Brady only reason for the drop off is all the players that are really good that they all passed on or overlooked. And the rest of the country was sick of their dominance. But yes they are still top of the heap. This coming from an Oregon fan we just suck since Chip left
the feed guy29 Hey I was really rooting for y'all to beat Auburn and Ohio State in the Nattys. I feel bad that Mariota never got a title, he was so good and seems like a super good person; he deserved one. If it makes you feel any better, Chip Kelly has sucked too ever since he left you guys.
Little inside secret, Leonard is down to 223, last year had the first AND second fastest runs of the NFL. This year, HE IS FASTER. He also now has an Offensive line. Last year he ran straight into 8 defenders all year and still somehow broke 1000. NOBODY in the NFL has faced as many schemes just for them. The entire NFL had one job vs Jacksonville, Crowd the middle and stop Fournett.
Rule #1 in football never tackle or run with the crown of your head just because you have a helmet doesn't mean you can lead with your head unless you want to end up paralized or have cte.
61K subscribed! Awesome. Interestingly Fournette ran 22 & 23mph in open field on a couple of long TD runs...which was the fastest of any player in 2017.At 237lbs a nightmare train to tackle.
What's up man, really like your videos! I'd love to hear your thoughts about some different positions and players, especially around the line of scrimmage! Khalil Mack, Aaron Donald, or anything on the offensive line would be a treat to see, keep up the good work man!
Good question because the safeties have to be quick in that last line of defense but the corners also have to be quick to keep up with the speedy receivers. It might just come down in the end to who has the better awareness and coverage when assigning those positions instead of basing it off of who’s faster
I’m Irish and I remember that try back in 2012 when we got battered by the All Blacks. Glad we managed to beat you for the first time and I’m hoping we’ll make it 2 wins in Autumn! Great videos btw
Fornette picked no.7 because he was raised in the 7th ward of New Orleans, Louisiana (hometown school, and jazz central of New Orleans). However, he can only wear 20-49 in the NFL as an RB, so he picked 27.
Silent He asked his subscribers if they were on with him putting ads on his videos so he probably needs a RUclips partnership now and wanted to know what would happen if he had a problem with it
I like when you show some rugby plays from players doing similar things. Don't sweat those that don't like it. A lot of us do, and seeing incredible players in any sport is awesome.
It's against college rules to sign Jersey's for money, Leonard signed his jersey/auctioned it and gave all the proceeds to hurricane victims. When the head of college football got wind he approached it with a "you gotta do what you gotta do" attitude. Super classy guy.
Ramson K in his 60k subscriber video he had a list of guys he's already watched and Bell was one of them. He just makes the videos ahead of time and releases them on a later day so he just hasn't released the Leveon Bell video yet but he's already watched him
when you truck you can't put your head down. That's targeting and you'll get send off for that. You need to hit with the shoulder, so what actually collides with the opponent, is your shoulder pad.
Usually corners will be the fastest to keep us with wideouts but safeties are fast too to cover the full width/length of the field & you can even have athletically freakish linebackers/defensive ends(outside of the defensive lineman)
REACT TO DERRIUS GUICE COLLEGE HIGHLIGHTS!!! HE WAS THE HEIR TO FOURNETTE’S THRONE AT LSU AND HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!! HAS LOTS OF HIGHLIGHT WORTHY ATHLETIC RUNS!!
As far as kickers go you have to check out Tom Dempsey,he was born with no toes on his kicking foot, literally had half a foot but had one of the strongest kicking legs ever.He once had, maybe still does have the record for the longest field goal kick in a regular season game.He is the GOAT of kickers and the fact that he only had no toes on his kicking foot just makes him even more impressive.
Yes the secondary (safeties and corner-backs) are always the fastest defensive players usually. They have to be able to keep up with speedy recievers (corners) and fly to multiple areas of the field quickly (safeties)
Part of the reason for all of his extravagant celebrations is the relaxed celebration rules this season. In previous seasons players got fined and penalized very easily. So his rookie season happened to be the year that players were able to re-embrace creative celebration culture.
Corner backs and safeties are basically interchangeable. A safety can play corner and a GOOD corner can play safety. And those two positions are the fastest defensive players
Usually Cornerback and safety’s tend to have the the same speed but there usually not as big as running backs so there best bet to tackle someone like Leonard fournette or Lynch or anyone that big thy would usually need help from the corner and safety to tackle them
Nice vid Jacob; enjoy watching your videos. I see you did an Earl Campbell vid, can't wait for that one. Do a react to Roger Staubach, Larry Fitzgerald, and the humble rumble David Johnson.
We gotta get you over here to the states so you can react to this stuff in person man! College football is where it's at. The atmosphere on gamedays in certain cities can be crazy! You need to go to a Alabama vs Auburn, Oklahoma vs Texas, Ohio State vs Michigan, Army vs Navy, etc. game. I think you'd absolutely love it!
Corners tend to be faster while safeties tend to be more aggressive. corners are more-so pass support and safeties also have pass support but also are more involved in the run support.
Hey you said how you would love to go to a game and that you will be following the Jacksonville Jaguars so every year they play in London and you should totally go! I’ve watched every single football video you’ve posted so far and I’m loving it! I love how you break things down and ask questions it’s so cool what you are doing! It’s also really cool when you pull up a rugby legend it’s very cool learning about rugby. It’s like I’m learning things just like you are! Keep up the great work!
Check out Big Ben's street ball plays! Street ball is a term for when the planned play doesn't go according to plan. Then it's time to improvise! ruclips.net/video/I1FTLmo7mGo/видео.html
Cornerbacks and safeties (both commonly referred to as the secondary or defensive backs) are generally the fastest players on the defense. Some linebackers can match that speed, Bobby Wagner, LaVonte David and Luke Kuechly are the first ones that come to mind, but they're typically not as fast as most defensive backs.
so traditionally corners are the fastest defenseman on the field... they gotta be able to keep up with the wide receivers from the offense who are wicked fast running forwards while they are running backwards covering them... safeties are basically a deep coverage corner linebacker hybrid.... meaning they cover both pass and run usually end up covering tight ends on pass or coming up for run support like a LB ,,, safeties are basically a mix between a linebacker and corner and they love delivering the boom
Corners are typically the fastest, safety’s can also be the fastest. Also now a Days even outside linebackers have speed. Now a days it’s more common to see linebackers run like a 4.7 - 4.5, and most corners and safeties are in the 4.5 - 4.3 range
I watched your video reviewing Leonards rookie year in the NFL. All I kept thinking was "PLEASE WATCH HIM IN COLLEGE" Glad it finally happened! Normally corners and safety's are the same speed. Just stupid fast.
corners are more athletic than safetys, safetys are going to be an in between of a corner and line backer so they are usually bigger than corners and they need a good IQ so they can read the plays well, they also blitz so size helps when it comes to tackling a running back or passing the offensive line! hope this helped you understand this beautiful game even more
Cornerbacks(Defense) and Wide Receivers(Offense) are generally where you will see the fastest players in the game with the occasional running back up there as well.
Love the Rugby highlights. Anyone who hasn't watched All or Nothing about the All Blacks on Amazon Prime really should. It's a really good behind the scenes look at a truly dominant team.
I mean it depends in all honesty usually the safeties need to be the fastest bc they have to cover the WHOLE field but the corners need to be fast to cover very fast receivers. So depending on the safety or corner ig
It all depends on the kind of corner or safety. Your man to man corners and more ball hawking type safeties are gonna have more speed. But your zone type corners and safeties are gonna be a little slower and are usually are the better tacklers.
They used to say a Safety was a Cornerback that was too slow to be a Cornerback so they moved to Safety, so the thought is that corners are usually faster
Hey I really like your content. I wish you would edit down some of the time you spend searching videos and looking up rugby content. I enjoy watching you watch the videos but I think cutting out some of the in between stuff via editing would really up the videos. Thanks! I like watching you!
Cornerback is typically the fastest and most agile and athletic position and is the hardest to play as an actual corners perspective because you guard 1 on 1 with usually a much bigger receiver and one little mistake can go a long way and the odds are often not in the corners favor
Usually the corners are faster than the safteys seeing as they’re better in man coverage and safteys are usually playing deep zone or somewhere in the box (where the linebackers are)
All the tangents you go on with other videos are great. So much cool information. I know nothing about rugby but today I learned Rene Ranger is a monster.
all four of the defensive backs (CBs, Free Safety, Strong Safety) are fast and normally the positions are necessarily seperated based on speed. the corners tend to have better man to man coverage skills than the safeties do and the safeties tend to be better and zone coverage and shorter sprints (getting to sidelines fast to close down on the WR.). Its not always the case. most could play the other's position if they were needed to.
Michael Vick college highlights are absolutely unreal. His speed and agility are stupid insane. You saw his nfl highlights but he was put for 4 years of his prom. So definetly check out his college highlights
The fastest typical position on defense is the Cornerbacks, but you can also have safeties with cornerback speed. Look up the DBs combine!!!! Jamal Adams, Former LSU Safety is pretty fast and has a great highlight tape! College and Rookie season tape
Tyrann Mathieu college highlights!!!!! You WILL NOT be disappointed! They call him the honey badger!
Great request! Honey badger grew up right down the road from me!
Cam newton or knockout hits by savage brick sports
He isn’t taking anymore requests
Omg yes. So glad he became a Texan. #1 defense next season for sure.
Well, being a huge LSU fan, I would love to see him watch LSU players' highlights. Guice, Peterson, Landry, Odell, etc.
Couple things:
- Coaches tell players to not lower their heads when tackling or running through traffic because that's how most spinal injuries occur. It also means you can't see where you're going or what you're tackling!
- The fastest players on the field are generally WRs and CBs, with RBs and Safeties as runners up. There are some RBs and S with 4.3 speed, but generally the speed demons are at WR and CB.
Charlie Rogers did u see what happened to Ryan Shazier😢
Pedro Cazares Yes. I think if they got rid of helmets altogether those types of injuries would be fewer and farther between.
Fournette will forever be on my list of people I admire, because of the love he gave to my Gamecocks after we had the worst flooding in Columbia in 100 years.Everyone involved with LSU were amazing. Always got love for that man for that

React to Eric Berry. He was diagnosed with cancer and the next season was an all pro safety. Best safety in the NFL right now.
He's not the best safety tho
1 of the best
Sean Taylor is the best safety of all time
DG Gaming Not even close. The best safety of all time is either Ed Reed or Ronnie Lott.
For real🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yeah another awesome thing about Leonard Fournette in college is that his number was and is still a legendary number. If you get the number 7 at LSU it means you have and are doing something incredible for the team. Patrick Peterson and Tyran Matthieu wore that number.
Steve smith agent 89- joe Vincent
We love the fact that you go back and fourth in some videos from football to rugby its awesone and its your thing, a lot of channels wouldn't. Keep doing your thing brah, love from Maine, USA.
Steve Smith. WR for Carolina Panthers. Dude was a beast and extremely fun to watch. You'd enjoy him for sure.
Shane Farley he retired. Good WR big trash talker
I love seeing your reactions , you’re always so into the video it makes it fun watching the video with you even though I’ve already seen him play. Keep it up
You should watch Lamar Jackson highlights
They are all against my team (Syracuse) so I say don't
Raymond Smith lmao same
Same...FSU
Yes Lamar pleas
I for one love the Rugby highlights you show throughout your football reaction videos. As it goes with your theme of bridging a gap between the two sports, I’ve never played rugby but it’s a game I’ve always thought was pretty cool and you’ve taught me a lot about it so far
Honey badger Heisman tape!!! Trust me dude!! Loving your videos!
Caleb Winfield easily the best college highlights of all time, he needs to make sure he gets every return from the Georgia game.
i was going to ask if he ever did Honey Badger
Just started watching your videos about 2-3 weeks ago and I love it man. It's great to see other people who haven't played the game of football and just see how they react to the game. my man leonard fournette!! im baton rouge native, and a die hard LSU fan. I met him once at an LSU basketball game and he was massive. im about 5"8, and he is like the eiffel tower when you stand next to him.
JJ WATT
No I’m not going to stop
J GUNN VIDEOS me either
He’s not taking anymore requests bro haha
He's made it but didnt upload it yet. Watch his video called 60,000 subscribers he shows all of what he's done and is going to do until the NFL preseason.
Watch his 60,000 video. He already has 35 videos filmed and edited. JJ is one of them. He just doesn't want to upload 50 videos a day.
Loving the videos man! It's very cool to see you learning all about football and its players. I also like learning some Rugby from you, and the videos you've shown us!

Love all the rugby comparisons. Keep the vids coming bro!!!
Darren Sproles is the smallest Man in the league you need to watch his Highlights and ideally his story.
Bmo Mgrimm he's already done him
Look up Derrius Guice LSU highlights. He just got drafted in NFL to the Washington Redskins.
just for context the SEC is the best conference, top to bottom, every year in college football
Don Solo ahhh idk some of the bottom sec schools are not the best
Derek Johansen TiDom the SEC is to college football that the ACC is to college basketball
Couple years ago and I would put up almost any SEC team against any other team and expect them to win. They're definitely much weaker nowadays but overall they're still probably the best conference.

I for one like when you pull up rugby player highlights to compare, love how we’re both able to learn each other’s sports in these videos!
Please check out Fred Taylor. 6'1, 235 pounds and ran a 4.28. He was one of the most dangerous backs to ever play.
Facts
I second that I told him on another video to check him out aswell
Fred has the all time longest run in playoff history, 90 yards.
Little inside secret, Leonard is down to 223, last year had the first AND second fastest runs of the NFL. This year, HE IS FASTER. He also now has an Offensive line. And fyi running backs usually dont last long in the NFL compared to other positions
61K subscribed! Awesome. Interestingly Fournette ran 22 & 23mph in open field on a couple of long TD runs...which was the fastest of any player in 2017.At 237lbs a nightmare train to tackle.
Christopher Liston He is 223 now and faster, so we shall see better this year.
Michael Blanc gotta be scary as a DB and he's bearing down on you...yikes!62K subscribed!
React to Todd Gurley. He is a very exciting young running back in the NFL. He was the 2017 offensive player of the year.
Player: “Thinks of tackling leonard fournette”
Leonard Fournette: I’m bout to end this man career
Waiting on the Todd Gurley reaction. Don’t waste your time with Elliot, OL does all the work for him.
Salty cowboy fans can cry here: ⬇️
random dude i am a cowboy fan but i still liked the comment. I love TGiii
malcolm Bibbs haha, respect man.
OSU fan. No they fucking haven't. I doubt many backs can bitch slap Kam Chancellor for a whole game.
You're slow 😂
But that Julio tape
What's up man, really like your videos! I'd love to hear your thoughts about some different positions and players, especially around the line of scrimmage! Khalil Mack, Aaron Donald, or anything on the offensive line would be a treat to see, keep up the good work man!
Do tyrann Mathieu LSU highlights as well as Odell Beckham jr.
RKO_LEGENDS he did odell already
I see ya bruh
Good question because the safeties have to be quick in that last line of defense but the corners also have to be quick to keep up with the speedy receivers. It might just come down in the end to who has the better awareness and coverage when assigning those positions instead of basing it off of who’s faster
Ladainian Tomlinson, julio Jones, Le’Veon Bell, Ezekiel Elliott, JJ watt, Luke Kuechly are some ideas btw.
I’m Irish and I remember that try back in 2012 when we got battered by the All Blacks. Glad we managed to beat you for the first time and I’m hoping we’ll make it 2 wins in Autumn! Great videos btw
Julio Jones highlights as well
Michael critchfield heck yeah. Also he should watch Fournette’s highlights against Alabama...nevermind, he didn’t have any when he played them lol
it's kind of funny how in that highlight vid they put a highlight of a run that was like a 5 yard loss
Fornette picked no.7 because he was raised in the 7th ward of New Orleans, Louisiana (hometown school, and jazz central of New Orleans). However, he can only wear 20-49 in the NFL as an RB, so he picked 27.
why have you searched "leave RUclips partnership" lol
Silent He asked his subscribers if they were on with him putting ads on his videos so he probably needs a RUclips partnership now and wanted to know what would happen if he had a problem with it
Dope vid bro.def gonna jump on your wave.salute and a billion blessings.Don't change shit.
Larry Allen please. he’s a great player!
he said he'll do larry allen
askabourgo when? I must’ve missed it
in his video for 60000 subs, there was a list on a board with vids posted, vids done and vids to do!
askabourgo thank you I’ve must have overlooked it.
i know cause i was also looking forward for his take on the beast that is Larry Allen
Man love your reactions and your willingness to learn the sport of football. Keep up the good work 🔥🔥.
Do a reaction to Reuben Foster college highlights
Espicially the kickoff vs Leonard Fournette
Agreed
I like when you show some rugby plays from players doing similar things. Don't sweat those that don't like it. A lot of us do, and seeing incredible players in any sport is awesome.
What happened to LeVeon Bell??!!
T21m I thought he had more votes
He did
T21m Already done
It's against college rules to sign Jersey's for money, Leonard signed his jersey/auctioned it and gave all the proceeds to hurricane victims. When the head of college football got wind he approached it with a "you gotta do what you gotta do" attitude. Super classy guy.
with the Touchdown celebrations ... everyone does it. From Rookie to 10 year vet, they all celebrate like there's no tomorrow.
Congratulations on the subscribers.
Le’Veon Bell ?
He's already watched him he just hasn't posted it
Alex l what
He did it
Ramson K in his 60k subscriber video he had a list of guys he's already watched and Bell was one of them. He just makes the videos ahead of time and releases them on a later day so he just hasn't released the Leveon Bell video yet but he's already watched him
Yeah but he had a vote and bell won overwhelmingly
So do you have to put the ball 🏉 down after you cross the goal line for a successful try?
when you truck you can't put your head down. That's targeting and you'll get send off for that. You need to hit with the shoulder, so what actually collides with the opponent, is your shoulder pad.
Da Guys now yes, hasn't even been a rule for long. Like the hit on Gronk last year would NOT have been a penalty just 3 years ago.
Usually corners will be the fastest to keep us with wideouts but safeties are fast too to cover the full width/length of the field & you can even have athletically freakish linebackers/defensive ends(outside of the defensive lineman)

Fornette has a great back story also , him and his family lived under an overpass right after hurricane Katrina . Great story great guy.
React to Drew Brees 2017-2018 highlights, super bowl highlights, or Joseph Vincent.

Watch Reggie bush's college football highlights. He was an amazing running back!
Michael57McCaskill Man Reggie Bush ran college football during his years!!!
I know he is my all time favorite player!!
he is probably one of the greatest college rb's and i hate usc
I grew up watching that usc team since I am a usc fan, he was amazing
Go Irish. haha
Hey you said how you would love to go to a game and that you will be following the Jacksonville Jaguars so every year they play in London and you should totally go! I’ve watched every single football video you’ve posted so far and I’m loving it! I love how you break things down and ask questions it’s so cool what you are doing! Tavon Austin has the best college highlight reel. You’ll respect his grade A dead leg step.
I love when you show comparable Rugby plays. Also, thanks for showing me another large guy named Rene like me lol.
Also, lowering your head is not advised due to the increased possibility of concussions or cervical spine injury.
Props to the guys who actually went in and tried to tackle him. Most gave the easy highlight

so traditionally corners are the fastest defenseman on the field... they gotta be able to keep up with the wide receivers from the offense who are wicked fast running forwards while they are running backwards covering them... safeties are basically a deep coverage corner linebacker hybrid.... meaning they cover both pass and run usually end up covering tight ends on pass or coming up for run support like a LB ,,, safeties are basically a mix between a linebacker and corner and they love delivering the boom
Just stupid fast.
corners are more athletic than safetys, safetys are going to be an in between of a corner and line backer so they are usually bigger than corners and they need a good IQ so they can read the plays well, they also blitz so size helps when it comes to tackling a running back or passing the offensive line! hope this helped you understand this beautiful game even more
I actually enjoy it when you show rugby clips comparing it to the football plays 👍🏾
Cornerbacks(Defense) and Wide Receivers(Offense) are generally where you will see the fastest players in the game with the occasional running back up there as well.
Love the videos man, really awesome to see how interested you are in football. You should check out Julio Jones next.
That's completely false. Corners are almost always faster than safeties.
Slim Brady earl Thomas lll is faster then almost all corners tho..?
No, he's not. There were 7 corners in this years combine alone that ran a faster 40 than him.
Slim Brady ur wrong tho😂 why do u need to try and start a argument..? Safeties need to be fast bc they what cover the whole field soo Oof.
This isn't even an argument. You're 100% wrong.
Tyrann Mathieu “ The Honey Badger” college highlights are some of the best you will ever see. Good job
So definetly check out his college highlights
the corner back is usually the fastest on defense
The fastest typical position on defense is the Cornerbacks, but you can also have safeties with cornerback speed. Look up the DBs combine!!!! Jamal Adams, Former LSU Safety is pretty fast and has a great highlight tape! College and Rookie season tape
